  • I rated this a one for the simple reason we booked the tour on line but never could figure out how to connect with the Hop-on-Hop-off Tour. We ended up losing the money paid for the tour.

  • The driver was well informed and extremely friendly. Very knowledgeable of the area and very entertaining.Portland, so this was the best way to take in as much as possible and still be able to check out a site or two! Highly recommend!

  • We only had one day in town so we took the HOHO tour. We had no car. We used the HOHO to get to the farther out places, such as the Rose Garden, 23rd Ave. shopping, OHSU aerial tram, and Riverplace. In between stops we just stayed on the bus to hear about the city. Our downtown hotel The Benson was close to Pioneer Square where we started our tour, and we were able to walk to Powell Books later that evening after the bus tour ended.

  • Very enjoyable ride through Portland, tour guides were very knowledgeable about the city, places to eat and visit.

  • Loved the Hop-on Hop-off Tour of Portland. Excellent narration. Even received help from a young male booking agent arranging a cab ride to our next destination when the Hop-On was concluded.

  • This is a cool way to see the City. Drivers were very knowledgeable on the city and had good humor with the commentary. Would highly recommend it.

  • Our recent tour on the Portland Hop On/Off bus was a major disappointment. Weve had good luck in the past with Viator and Hop On/Off in other cities but Portland was a waste of money and precious time. We got off at Stop 7 in the Pearl District. We walked through the district to Stop 8 listed in the brochure at Powells Books. There were no signage or clues there where the bus might stop so we positioned ourselves at an intersection on the one-way approach. We could see the bus approaching when it turned away four blocks away. We tried to intersect its path with no success. It didnt come close to Powells
No number listed to call. Too late in the day to retrace our steps, we made our way back on public transit. The second day of our two day ticket was wasted because we had no idea where to pick up the bus again, we didnt have time to start over, and again, no phone contact.
For the 78 we could have done everything on well-designed public transit and had plenty of money left for a nice lunch and then drinks later! Going to re-think the whole Hop On/Off model!

  • An absolute delight! I recommend going on this your first day because it will show all there is to see, and then you can plan the following days around it!

  • We really enjoyed our first look at the city this way.

  • Very good way to get an overview of the city. The drivers were expert in the traffic and up the hills!
