We book an only English speaking tour but it turn out to be a Spanish and English tour. Our tour guide Sophie was rude. She gave us the impression that she does not like being there as a guide and complain about how little her salary was. She gets irritated and annoyed when we ask her questions.
However our bus driver Lucas was very friendly and polite. -
Our city walking tour guide was spectacular. He was very personable and knowledgeable, and we really enjoyed our time together. We would definitely recommend this tour and both of our guides - thank you for a great day.

This was a great trip. We were met at the time and place agreed. We spent a few minutes reviewing the plans with the guide - this was a wet day and some of the plans involved considerable walking, so we agreed to switch things around a bit. That worked very well, largely because the guide was friendly and helpful, clearly knew the city and our wet and dry options, and could communicate well. We recommend it highly as a most enjoyable introduction to Porto

I took my foreign girlfriend to visit one of my favorite cities in my Homeland. We were lucky enough to be the only tourists that day, so we got a private tour as an extra bonus. I cannot say how much our brain owes to Zé and his knowledge of, not only, Porto's history, but also Portugal's. If I understood it correctly, he's currently doing his Master's in History and I honestly never been around someone that knowledgeable about ANYTHING.
The tour is tiring, but super worth it. The restaurant was super on point. The boat trip is amazing for the views. And the Churchill's visit was amazing. Super recommended.

A 5 star tour that exceeded our expectations! Well worth the money. Our day got off to a fantastic start with Aida picking us up at our hotel and heading to the city core to meet Ricardo for our personal walking tour. Our group was only 4 so it was very personal and paced to meet our needs and abilities. Ricardo is an excellent guide with a wealth of background information. Lunch was amazing! Aida picked us up and took us to a small local restaurant were the food was outstanding. She helped us order and the result was a tasty variety of the foods of Portugal. Wine, fire water and desert was also included. Next was Port tasting were once again we had our own guide who gave us an informative background on the history and varieties of Port. We sampled four different varieties. Once again Aida appeared and escorted us to a relaxing one hour river cruise. By now we were ready for a relaxing view of the city from the river. Lastly we were taken by Aida in her private vehicle to the ocean and a small fishing village to see yet another side of Portugal. Tour finished, we were dropped back at our hotel. What a great day! I would highly recommend it.

An exhausting but very enjoyable day. Picked up from our hotel and taken to a high point in Porto. From there, we walked through the different districts, mostly going downhill via lots of steps running from the cathedral to the river bank, across the bridge to the south bank where the walking bit of the tour finished. This is a very personal tour as there were only two couples, the other being Spanish. The guide was excellent being informative and easy to understand. Be aware though that the walk was hard work and like Porto in general, is definitely not suited to those with impaired walking ability. After that, we went down a side street to a small restaurant where we had an excellent lunch. The waiter was very helpful and explained the menu to us. I don't know exactly what we had but we chose the last on the list of fish dishes and it was very enjoyable. This, drinks and desert were included in the tour price. After that, we had a tasting session at the Cruz Port building. We are not lovers of port but found it interesting. Finally, we were put on a boat for the five bridges tour. No commentary but none was needed as our guide had already told us about the bridges. This was a perfect relaxing end to the day. We decided to walk back to our hotel as we wanted to do some shopping on the way back but they would have driven us back as part of the tour. All in all, a long and tiring but enjoyable day. Well worth the money.

The walking tour was fantastic! Our guide was so knowledgable and took us to spots off the beaten path, so we really got a taste of Porto culture and a lifestyle - both past and present. The river cruise was also excellent - a great way to see this beautiful city! The lunch and wine tasting were the reason for the four star - they were both a bit awkward, as we were the only tourists there. But the guides were knowledgable and helped us learn so much about lovely Porto!
