Know More about this tour

Start in Wenceslas Square in the evening, and set out to discover Prague’s bustling beer scene on a leisurely walk through the city. Take the tram and metro where necessary (tickets are included), and visit beloved beer sanctuaries, buzzing local hotspots, popular beer halls and a microbrewery. As you explore, hear about the city’s history, culture and heritage, and learn how Wenceslas Square is tied with Communism and the Velvet Revolution of 1989.
Hop on the tram and head to a favorite local beer hall in ikov, a former industrial suburb that has become the center of Prague's rough-and-tumble nightlife. Choose from 10 kinds of beer, from the most famous Czech brands to lesser-known brews from small Czech microbreweries. Pair your beer with hearty pork chili, served with horseradish and mustard. Surrounded by walls adorned with pictures of the Communist Czech presidents, you'll hear stories about life under Communism as you enjoy your beer.
Board the metro and head to a pub in the Vinohrady area that has 27 beers on tap. Let your guide help you choose, and sample some pickled sausage; it’s a classic Czech beer snack. From Vinohrady, head to a surprise pub that’s chosen by your guide on the day. Perhaps it has a band due to play there, or a speciality beer on sale.
Next up is a pub in Prague Old Town. Here, sample Pilsner Urquell, the most famous Czech beer, from a tank rather than a keg. You will also learn about the birth of Pilsner, one of the most famous beers in the world.
Enjoy the fresh air as you walk to a cozy brewery pub near the Old Town square where you tour ends. As there are so many more beer venues to enjoy in Prague, your guide will leave you with a map of the city’s best beer halls. Enjoy!

  • Great way to see the city and meet fellow travellers

  • This tour was one of the highlights of our trip! Misha was amazing, and the tour lasted long beyond the scheduled end time as the group really bonded and stayed out extremely late. Misha was with us the whole way! We felt safe hitting the town with a real local and he showed us some great places!

  • Excellent beer and tapas tour through parts of Prague I never would have normally seen! The tour was led by Casey, who was incredibly knowledgeable about local beer, food, and neighborhoods. I'd highly recommend this tour to anyone that wants to get out of the typical tourist areas and have a more authentic Prague experience.

  • My boyfriend and I really enjoyed this experience. The food and beer were both great, and it was so much fun getting to know Prague on a more intimate level. I highly recommend this tour and and will book it again on my next visit. Thank you Casey and Misha for such a wonderful evening.

  • We spent two weeks traveling in Europe and this was by far our favorite activity. Our tour guide Peter was funny and intelligent. We tried many delicious foods and saw some great dive bars that we never would have walked into on our own. The beer was delicious. This is a must do.

  • We had a memorable tour with Martin, who was very knowledgeable about the Prague craft beer scene and also very charming. This is a perfect outing for families with adult children - we were visiting Prague for Christmas with our 26 and 28-year-old kids and their partners, and all of us really enjoyed the evening. The beers were excellent and Martin selected a good variety of brew-pubs for us to visit. The snacks served alongside the beers were superb, and a great introduction to Czech cuisine. Highly recommended!

  • We had a wonderful time!

  • I really enjoyed this tour! Our guide, Petr, took us to four of his personal favorite pubs where we had great beer and sampled some delicious food! The pubs we visited were outside of tourist areas, in places I likely would not have visited otherwise. A combination of walking, taking the tram, and riding the subway added to the enjoyment. Petr's friendly personality, knowledge, and passion for beer and food made it a great experience. As a solo traveler, I also appreciated the opportunity to share this experience with 5 other friendly and engaging people. A fun way to spend an evening in Prague!

  • Sure, I can go into any pub and get a beer, but my wife and I really enjoyed our pub crawl with our leader Petr. For our first pub we got out of town on a subway ride. We went to a nice pub in a local town away from all crowds and tourists other than us!, and this alone was worth it. Next we boarded a tram and went to a second pub away from the crowd. Pubs 3 and 4 were working our way back towards our starting point. Each pub had a different feel, and we sampled many fine Czech beers. We also had four completely different styles of tapas at the four pubs we visited. I'm glad we took this tour, as we saw things we would not have seen otherwise, and the company of our fellow pub crawlers was very enjoyable as well.

  • Our guide Tomas was very friendly and knowledgeable about Czech beers...he even played the piano beautifully.
