Know More about this tour

Start in Wenceslas Square in the evening, and set out to discover Prague’s bustling beer scene on a leisurely walk through the city. Take the tram and metro where necessary (tickets are included), and visit beloved beer sanctuaries, buzzing local hotspots, popular beer halls and a microbrewery. As you explore, hear about the city’s history, culture and heritage, and learn how Wenceslas Square is tied with Communism and the Velvet Revolution of 1989.
Hop on the tram and head to a favorite local beer hall in Žižkov, a former industrial suburb that has become the center of Prague's rough-and-tumble nightlife. Choose from 10 kinds of beer, from the most famous Czech brands to lesser-known brews from small Czech microbreweries. Pair your beer with hearty pork chili, served with horseradish and mustard. Surrounded by walls adorned with pictures of the Communist Czech presidents, you'll hear stories about life under Communism as you enjoy your beer.
Board the metro and head to a pub in the Vinohrady area that has 27 beers on tap. Let your guide help you choose, and sample some pickled sausage; it’s a classic Czech beer snack. From Vinohrady, head to a surprise pub that’s chosen by your guide on the day. Perhaps it has a band due to play there, or a speciality beer on sale.
Next up is a pub in Prague Old Town. Here, sample Pilsner Urquell, the most famous Czech beer, from a tank rather than a keg. You will also learn about the birth of Pilsner, one of the most famous beers in the world.
Enjoy the fresh air as you walk to a cozy brewery pub near the Old Town square where you tour ends. As there are so many more beer venues to enjoy in Prague, your guide will leave you with a map of the city’s best beer halls. Enjoy!

  • This was an amazing way to learn about Czech culture and history. My tour guid Martian was extremely knowledgeable and welcoming. The group size was intamite and it really felt like a special personalized tour. Highly recommend!

  • Our group had five people, not including our guide Martin. Martin's English skills were excellent and he willingly answered our many questions about beer and life in the Czeck Republic. Our guide, beer selection and tapas were outstanding!

  • Tomáš was a very knowledgable and fun tour leader. I enjoyed seeing different pivovars and eating traditional foods. Since I was traveling alone, this tour allowed me to have a fun night tho I might not have done by myself.

  • Our group of 8 friends had an excellent and thoroughly enjoyable evening with Misha of Urban Adventures guiding us on an insider's pub crawl. I am sure we would not have found any of the four wonderful places on our own. Misha was a wealth of knowledge, not only on the beer and Czech tapas, but she was happy to share her perspective and insight on whatever we asked her regarding history, politics, and other topics related to Prague. It was so obvious to all of us that Misha enjoys what she does, and her energy and enthusiasm added to our wonderful experience. We had a fantastic time and wholeheartedly recommend Misha and Urban Adventures!

  • This tour was great! We had some of the best food we've tried in Prague on this trip. Our guide was super knowledgeable. For someone who loves, and can drink a bunch of beer this trip is fabulous!

  • awesome!

  • Great guide and great experiences

  • Petr our guide was very knowledgeable about beer and Prague. We never would have found the little places he took us to on our own. Great tour! Great beer! My husband and I would definitely recommend this tour!

  • This tour was the perfect intro to the city and it's food and beer options. We split into a group with similar ages and interests and Travis had picked the perfect spots to sample beer and food. We would never have found or tried these on our own and there was enough food options at each to form a complete meal for the evening, especially with the dessert option at the last place. Travis provided us with plenty but not too much history and facts about the city, the food, the area and the life around the area. He was a great conversation partner and also gave us all individual suggestions for our next few days in the city -- Which all turned out to be perfect. Even walked us to the metro. You cannot beat this experience for the price!!

  • Our guide, Petr, led our group of six guests on a fun and interesting tour. So many beers to choose from! The pubs were off the beaten tourist track allowing us to visit pubs the locals enjoy. The fried bread with garlic spread and the roasted duck were just two of the many delicious and plentiful bar snacks. This tour is a winner.
