Great tour from start to finish. The tour guide was interesting and he clearly knows his stuff. Managed to see a lot of the city for a good price
The tour was very good. Enjoyed the boat ride and the castle tour. I would recommend this tour as it is a good introduction to Prague.
Great trip out, very interesting, well worth booking this trip as soon as you can, to get to know the history of Prague. Then you can enjoy exploring with a better understanding of what is around you.
I highly recommend you booking a tour of the city with Allen, he's passionate about his job and will gladly take time to answer your questions.
Upon locating the meeting point along the many smaller nooks of the Square, we met with a young man as our guide for the tour. He was so patient with our group of 5 Americans and our need to photo-document all of the beauty of the area. He was wonderful to converse with and was VERY knowledgable of not only Czech history, but that of the United States and other countries. He did not accompany us on the River Cruise, but we wish he had! Our guide on the boat was unenthusiastic, but the Pilsner beer that came along with the tour made it okay. Our guide met us at the end of the tour and showed us around some more and offered to take our group photos along the JOHN LENNON WALL. As the tour ended at the Prague Castle, he volunteered to walk us back to our area of choice and recommended a delicious spot for dinner. Thank you to our guide!!
What a wonderful tour. One of our best ever, in fact. Our tour guide, Allen, was super competent, knowledgable, and friendly. He never rushed, always taking the time to explain to us the historical and architectural significance of the castle and other sites we visited. I'm glad we spent more time reviewing the castle's overall history, military and political significance, and architecture, and less on the insides of the castle/church which would have been less interesting to us (seriously, how many more European castles and churches can you handle). I highly recommend this company and tour.
Our tour guide, Vojta was extremely friendly and knowledgeable - he pointed out interesting facts and ideas about not just the important places we visited, but what they mean to the Czech people. Great experience for me and my family! Thanks Vojta!!
The tour is good introduction to Prague. It starts in the old town, where the guide points out the main points of interest with commentary. Then onto the boat ride, which is nice, then the guide takes the group by tram to one of the more convenient castle entrances. He provides plenty of information about the castle complex. A thoroughly enjoyable tour. The guide was friendly and his commentary was easy to understand.
the guide, Allen, was nice and had lots of information to share, but we wasted a lot of time- did the boat cruise first, which was wasn't that interesting- by the time we got to Prague Castle, the church was closed- we could not go in- and we didn't even enter interior parts of the castle. We had limited time in Prague and did not have time to go back on our own. I would have rather done the castle/ church first- so we would have time to see it. the cruise part should have been done at the end if time allowed. We were shocked the tour was handled in this manner. Very disappointing.
Allen was such a great tour guide!! Had a wealth of knowledge on the history of Prague & provided lots of good recs for the city. Definitely a highlight of our trip!!
