Know More about this tour

Start your tour with a complimentary hotel pickup in Reykjavik between 9am and 9:30am and then head out for a Golden Circle Adventure. The Golden Circle includes the greatest sights in Iceland, Thingvellir, Gulfoss and Geysir. Covering about 300km looping from Reykjavik into central Iceland and back again.

The highlights of the tour include:

Thingvellir: This pivotal landmark connects all the major events in the founding of the Icelandic commonwealth. It is also considered the best place on earth to view the North Atlantic divergent ridge.

Efstidalur farm, which has been owned by the same family since 1850 and focuses on cattle farming, tourism and horse breeding. Enjoy their tasty farm-to-table food products, the spectacular mountain view and the friendly farm animals.

Geysir: The highly active Geysir Hot Spring Area with boiling mud pits, exploding geysers and the lively Strokkur geyser which spouts water 30 meters (100 ft) into the air every few minutes.

Gullfoss (the Golden Waterfall) is an iconic waterfall in Iceland offering a spectacular view of the forces and beauty of untouched nature. Located in South Iceland near the second largest glacier in Europe Langjokull Glacier.

Kerid is a striking crater-lake filled with milky blue-green water amid stark black and deep red slopes. Geologists now believe it to be a collapsed magma chamber at the end of a volcanic eruption that occurred more than 6,000 years ago.

We are always prepared to make an extra stop for photos along the way, and if we’re lucky, we’ll get to pull over to feed any Icelandic horses we pass at the side of the road.

You can expect to be back to your hotel in Reykjavik between 5pm and 6pm.

There is free WiFi on board so that you can share your images with friends and family instantly!

  • Our guide was absolutely fantastic and it was well worth spending the extra money to have a local give you the ins and outs of the country/cities. He was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the content itself. Not to mention it was great having a smaller group was great, less chance of being held up by someone and easier for the guide to communicate the information. Loved visiting the local farm where we got to try skyr and ice cream delicious! If you only have a day here in this beautiful country, I would highly recommend choosing this tour we were able to see more than a few of the main sights and it really was so informative interesting, not at all dull.

  • This tour was amazing!

  • A totally great experience. Our driver / guide gave us so much information about everything and everywhere - he was excellent.
The waterfalls were beautiful with lovely rainbow spray. The geyser area was most interesting as was the Kerid crater with its colours.
The visit to the farm with its delicious ice-cream was a delightful extra. The whole tour made our Iceland visit unforgettable.

  • My boyfriend and I went on this tour last week 1st week of September and I couldn't recommend it more highly. Our tour guide was Hauser Howser? and he had such an incredible breadth of knowledge, there wasn't a question he couldn't answer for you. We went to all the usual spots, of course, but then we also went to a fabulous little dairy farm where we got to try out their Skyr and ice cream! Our guide also took little stops along the way to show us other points of interest that weren't on our schedule for the day, but he said, We are world travelers, and we must have as complete a world view as possible. It felt incredibly personal and tailored to our desires as a group and I felt like I learned so much more than was advertised. The gorgeous scenery combined with his fantastic story-telling and a comfy small bus made for a picture perfect experience. If you can only take one tour while you're in Iceland, take this one!

  • Excellent tour with a small group in a van. We especially enjoyed visiting the geysers, waterfalls, and the stop at the local farm.

  • This tour was amazing, our guide Eagle was so informative and we loved his commentary. The sites we stopped at were beautiful, and the extra stop at the farm was such a nice touch!

  • Comprehensive tour not only of the main sights but also an opportunity to pet Icelandic horses and try Islandic dairy products at a local dairy farm. The guide was knowledgeable and entertaining. The small size fo the group was a big plus. I highly recommend the tour.

  • We had a great tour. Guide was extremely knowledgeable and spoke excellent English. Would highly recommend!!!! 2 thumbs up!

  • the itinerary for the tour was fantastic. However, the guide was not enthusiastic, in fact, borderline boring. She tried to make jokes to no avail. There was supposed to be wifi on board and there was not. She did not seem to engage with passengers on board. I have taken many viator tours before and the guides were excellent, but certainly not this one. She did not really seem to care if her passengers were comfortable and she had the heat blowing way too high. I will say the golden circle tour is excellent and really gives you an idea of Reykjavik....

  • Great tour guide who knew a lot about geology and the heart of Iceland.
