Know More about this tour

Start your tour with a complimentary hotel pickup in Reykjavik between 9am and 9:30am and then head out for a Golden Circle Adventure. The Golden Circle includes the greatest sights inIceland, Thingvellir, Gulfoss and Geysir. Covering about 300km looping from Reykjavik into centralIcelandand back again.

The highlights of the tour include:

Thingvellir: This pivotal landmark connects all the major events in the founding of the Icelandic commonwealth. It is also considered the best place on earth to view the North Atlantic divergent ridge.

Efstidalur farm, which has been owned by the same family since 1850 and focuses on cattle farming, tourism and horse breeding. Enjoy their tasty farm-to-table food products, the spectacular mountain view and the friendly farm animals.

Geysir: The highly active Geysir Hot Spring Area with boiling mud pits, exploding geysers and the lively Strokkur geyser which spouts water 30 meters (100 ft) into the air every few minutes.

Gullfoss (the Golden Waterfall) is an iconic waterfall in Icelandoffering a spectacular view of the forces and beauty of untouched nature. Located in SouthIcelandnear the second largest glacier in Europe Langjokull Glacier.

Kerid is a striking crater-lake filled with milky blue-green water amid stark black and deep red slopes. Geologists now believe it to be a collapsed magma chamber at the end of a volcanic eruption that occurred more than 6,000 years ago.

We are always prepared to make an extra stop for photos along the way, and if were lucky, well get to pull over to feed any Icelandic horses we pass at the side of the road.

  • The guide and all of the stops were great.
Our guide took good care of us watching the weather and getting us back safely. It was nice to be in a smaller group.

  • Wow, where to start!
Our transport arrived on time and we were greeted by our driver/guide Howser think that is how his name is spelt. Off we went for 8 hours of interesting facts, history, jokes and all round entertainment as we explored the Golden Circle. Considering the heavy snow 12 hours earlier the roads were open and the snow capped mountains and volcanic craters made for spectacular views. Several stops were made for photographs and stunning locations with Howser taking on the role as photographer to capture those magic moments.
It was a wonderful day spent taking in the views of this beautiful country, made even better by fantastic Howser, thank you so much for this magical day!

  • We had a wonderful day. Our guide Orn was really informative, extremely helpful and even treated us to a short song! The landscape is amazing and Orn shared his vast knowledge as we drove around the route. An excellent day 10 out of 10

  • The tour was amazing! Our guide was fun, knowledgeable, passionate about her country and she Even sang some Icelandic songs to us. All of the stops we made were breathtaking and the extra stop at the farm was super neat. I couldn’t ask for a better experience. Thank you!

  • Absolutely wonderful tour! Our guide was very knowledgeable, personable, great organizing skill. We were meet by tour representative and escorted to out bus. Highly recommended company!!!

  • Brilliant tour when we eventually got the minibus. The pickup info given to us was incorrect. Luckily they phoned me and we managed to get to the correct pickup point quickly.
Small tour was brilliant as there was only 4 people on our tour and our guide Frosty was very informative and friendly.

  • Natural beauty of Iceland is never ending, Geisers, waterfalls just spectacular. Our guide is probably better suited to a different profession and did not add much of interest to the trip unfortunately.

  • Seeing the horses, visiting the farm, and the wonderful Gullfoss Falls were the trip highlights! Our driver was a delightful woman but had a name no one could pronounce or spell...

  • Our guide was absolutely fantastic and it was well worth spending the extra money to have a local give you the ins and outs of the country/cities. He was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the content itself. Not to mention it was great having a smaller group was great, less chance of being held up by someone and easier for the guide to communicate the information. Loved visiting the local farm where we got to try skyr and ice cream delicious! If you only have a day here in this beautiful country, I would highly recommend choosing this tour we were able to see more than a few of the main sights and it really was so informative interesting, not at all dull.
