  • The Vox Mundi staff waiting at the Square were extremely disorganized, and mostly rude. They were for the most part chitchatting about football and didn't reply to any of our questions - just pointed us to other people and the entrance.
The tour itself is amazing, as you'll only realize the grandeur of the Dome once you're arrive at the inside of the Dome, and people look like tiny ants below. The views of Rome are also very picturesque from the outside of the Dome - although it was extremely crowded. You also need to be fit to make the climb. We saw a couple of elderly people stranded midway, and the descent seems only possible once you get all the way up.

  • It is a fantastic tour and the view from the dome is well worth the money. Avoiding the lines is a great benefit and also makes the cost worthwhile. Be prepared for the stair climb as it can take a lot out of you, but going back down is so much easier.

  • Great view but tough walk up to the top of the dome. Good info from the audio guide.

  • Amazing! Excellent tour no queuing, guides were very good, spoke good English. Loved it!

  • I visited with my two teenage kids. I've been to St. Peter's many times and I knew the kids would get saturated with a detailed guided tour. But we didn't want to stand in line half the day. I booked the audio guide for the cupola for first thing in the morning. It was very easy to find the guide. The description of the meeting location on the confirmation was very clear. They had an Apple Wallet option, but I also printed the confirmations just in case. Apple Wallet worked fine. Vox tour company wears very distinctive blue vests, easy to spot from a distance. All of the tour guides near the Vatican Post Office are very helpful. They all know each other and will help you find the correct group. Entry and security were very quick and efficient. We went straight to the audio guide desk and then to the lift to the cupola. The guide left us at the elevator and we started up. When you come down, you are inside the Basilica and free to explore. It worked very well. I recommend this particular ticket if you 1 Do not want a guided tour 2 Want to climb to the top of the cupola and 3 Want to avoid the horrendous lines to get into the Vatican.

  • This is a must see!
