Transfer by train from Bologna Centrale Station to Verona Porta Nuova Station. Pick up at the station and transfer by private car to the Gamba winery, located in the centre of the Valpolicella region, around 13 km from Verona city, with a beautiful view of the entire valley. Later start a Guided Tour of the Gamba Winery with detailed description of the Valpolicella wine production. The red wine known as Valpolicella is typically made from three grape varieties:Corvina Veronese,Rondinella, andMolinara.After knowing how the wine is made enjoy a tasting of three types of Valpolicalla wine - Valpolicella Classico, Ripasso, Amarone - combined with different snacks. You tour will end at the wine shop if you wish to buy some wine. Later transfer back to Verona and if you wish you can spend sometime in the City of Romeo and Juliet to visit the Arena of Verona, the House of Juliet, Castel Vecchio, the Old bridge. Return to Bologna by Train.
