  • By far the worst tour of my trip. This is barely a food tour and that the description for this is not correct at all. Overall you get to try 2 things, ours was croquette from a place that resembles a 7-11 1.00 value roughly the size as a cheesestick and a small asian desert that we picked out ourselves roughly the same value, at the very end of the tour we were told that the cheese shop is right over there and they have free samples sitting inside so I'm not counting that, anyone can walk in and do that. There are no Stroopwaffles or pancakes as stated in the ad and if you bring an empty stomach like the ad says, you will be very hungry after. Otherwise there is a walking tour, the guide didn't seem very interested and took frequent phone and smoke breaks and most of the information we had already heard on other Amsterdam tours we had taken. I've done food tours all over the world and am no stranger to them, please note that this is not what you are getting, you are getting an average walking tour with 2 small, mediocre quality, food samples.

  • It was a good tour but it was more historical than food. When I think food tour, I think a tour where we try staple foods. We found that there is no real Dutch cuisine because they’re so diverse. Good info but not really a food tour.

  • Tony was lots of fun as he showed us around Amsterdam. Enjoyed the food and the sites. Great tour!

  • Was fun, tour guide was friendly. I thought the guide could have been more prepared though with places to see and food tasting.

  • I wish I could give no stars since we never took this tour. I booked this as a food tour. While the description does say it is a food walking tour, it is listed as a private food tour. When our guide showed up, I told him that at I had limited walking ability and wanted to stay fairly close to the meeting point. He told me it was a WALKING tour, that he could not alter it in any way and we would only be spending a very minimal time tasting food. He was totally unwilling to alter it in any way and kept insisting on saying that the description said it was a walking tour, that he was the owner of the company and I was wrong. Keep in mind it was only the two of us. We ended up just leaving because by then we did not want to spend any time with him. Did I mention that he was also a half hour late? He had texted me but I didnt see the text until we were at the meeting point wondering where he was. Also, before we left I tried to e-mail him about the time and the e-mail address didnt work. Viator got me in touch with him. Book at your own risk.

  • For us this was more of a city walking tour with a few food tastings. Don't get us wrong, our guide Tony was friendly and very knowledgeable on all things Amsterdam, but based on other food tours we have done this one was average at best.

  • This tour was amazing! Our guide, Tony, was great. We sampled all the food described, he even found a different traditional food for one of us who didn and #39;t eat seafood. We left full! He gave us lots of history and showed us all of the main sights in old city. Highly recommend, great experience!

  • Our guide Tony was super friendly and made it a great tour! The food tastings were delicious, it was a lot of food! What we really liked about this tour was that it was not only about tasting food. We learned so much about Amsterdam with this tour and saw a lot of sights! Highly recommended!
