The tour begins on the Montjuïc Mountain, from where you can enjoy the scenic panoramic views of the city. The mountain, originally used as a strategic place to defend the city against attacks, is now home to the splendid Miró foundation and the Caixa Forúm. These and other buildings on the mountain, perfectly illustrate examples of modern art and contemporary architecture. The Montjuïc also includes examples of town planning and architecture especially designed for the 1929 International Exhibition.
To reach Barcelona's coastline, we will drive through Las Ramblas, the very famous avenue of the city.
After the Montjuïc, you will head to Barcelona’s coast, passing by the Columbus Monument and the Gothic Drassanes. The beach is surrounded by the latest architecture, best represented by the World Trade Centre and the transformed Old Port. Maintaining its authentic charm, Port Vell is now full of restaurants, nightclubs and fantastic shops.
We will pass by the big Columbus Monument, a tall memorial to Christopher Columbus.
Further, you will enjoy a stroll in the Gothic Quarter, known as one of the districts that are part of Ciutat Vella, the old town of the city. In Ciutat Vella, where the history of Barcelona first started, you will experience a harmonious mix of modernity with Roman and medieval imprints. There you will learn about the Catalan traditions and Barcelona’s origins, while exploring the enchanting corners, picturesque plazas and the narrow alleys of the Gothic quarter.
You will be able to pass by Plaça Sant Jaume, one of the main, oldest and most representative squares of Ciutat Vella
You will have the chance to admire the façade of the gothic cathedral of Barcelona, seat of the archbishopric of Barcelona
We will drive through the Eixample district, designed by Ildefons Cerdà after 1895, to expand the city. (The word “Eixample” actually means “expansion” in Catalan). Passing by the streets of this elegant neighborhood, you will see that Cerdà’s concept of urban planning was revolutionary and utopian.
Admire the breathtaking Sagrada Familia. It is considered as the most symbolical landmark of Barcelona. There are no words to describe the feeling one gets when entering this magnificent temple of Modernism. The organic shapes found throughout its structure, the light filtering through its stained glass windows and the symbolic nature of the building’s sculpted façade will probably be the highlight of this tour and maybe of your whole stay.
We will pass through the luxurious Passeig de Gràcia, with its typical Catalan architecture. The avenue is home to the most impressive façades of modernist buildings, counting Gaudi’s La Pedrera, Casa Batlló, Casa Lleó - Morera or Casa Ametller.
We will pass by La Pedrera, one of Gaudi's impressive houses.
We will pass by Casa Battló, one of Gaudi's impressive houses.
We will pass in front of Casa Lleó - Morera or Casa Ametller, built by the modernist architect Lluís Domènech.

Matt was the best tour guide we recommend him to everyone. He was the best tour guide we got lucky to have had him

The tour was exceedingly well received. Leo, our tour guide texted us to let us know where and what time he would pick us up and gave us tips on the weather so we could be prepared. Leo was very cordial and we felt at ease as soon as we got in the van with him and two other persons who took the same tour. Leo provided bilingual narratives and historical explanations as our group speak different languages English and Spanish. He equally divided attention to both groups because there were only four of us. We told Leo that my husband was unable to take a long walk and Leo was very considerate and kept that in mind during the tour. We picked the private tour and the pick up and drop off because of his condition. Overall, it’s well worth it and we enjoyed the tour even made new friends in the process. Two thumbs up!

Teo picked us up at the correct time.. he pointed out the interesting sites along the way to the Gothic quarter. He took us back in time looking up to the Roman Columns! At the Olympic Stadium he gave us time to enjoy the great excitement that still lingers. Teo did an excellent job of explaining the importaAn nce of the Sagrada Familia Anatomy. Now, looking at the structure, it's beauty is more meaningful. Having the chance to return to Barcelona, I centered our free time around this Tour. Teo did an excellent job & he should be an asset to your business

Excellent: The tour of city from many points of interest. Daniela was very informative of the history of Barcelona. She took to nice lunch and some shopping.
-
Daniela was so wonderful and knowledgeable. We were able to visit all of the places we wanted to go, and we heard all about the historical background about the locations we visited. Daniela was flexible when coordinating our day and offered great recommendations. We were dropped off right at the entrance lines and Daniela timed our visits perfectly such that we had time to eat lunch, taste desserts, and explore the city.
-
Simply a wonderful experience. All what you expect and more with restaurant suggestions and what else to do while here. We ended booking another tour. Our guide Daniella was excellent.
