It was fine. Very pricey for the number of beer tastings (we skipped the snack in favor of a fourth beer because the kitchen was closed at the snack stop). Our guide, Tiago, was fine. He seemed very tired and although he would answer our questions, he did not share a whole lot of information about the beers or neighborhood. I would not book this again knowing what I know now.

At the beginning the meet up location was easy to find but was in a different part of of town that I would not normally go to (not in a good way). Tiago met us there and did give us a different take on that part of town, which made me feel more comfortable. Tiago was really nice and I would give him 5 stars but the tour 3. This is because I would of rather gotten a list of places to go to with the recommend beers at those locations. For what we paid we didn’t think it was worth it. Don’t book on a Sunday, and for us a peak time of COVID in Germany, we didn’t feel like we got the full experience. We were told normally the streets and bars we are at are full. The main brewery that we thought we were going to was closed on a Sunday so another reason not to book then. Tiago was good at the end leading us back the direction to get home or giving us somewhere else to drink or have a good rest of the night.

I booked this trip as a birthday present for my father and my mum and dad were supposed to go. They were so excited to go to Berlin and have a local experience! All was confirmed and a day before I received a text to confirm everything. When my parents arrived to the meeting point, they had to wait 20 minutes in the cold. They called the guide who said he had sent an email the day before to cancel. Absolutely disappointed - I did not receive such email. Even if this was true, I cannot understand that someone would supposedly cancel the day before for something booked several weeks before. I was debited the money & got text from TripAdvisor the day before & also after the tasting was supposed to happen to ask for a review! Very disappointed in every aspects. Need to be reimbursed asap a however this will not make up for the loss of time for my parents special trip to Berlin. Do not recommend !

Michèle was incredible! Best tour we have ever been on. It was so chill and casual and all the beers were phenomenal. We felt like we were out to drinks with a friend who knew a lot more about beer and Berlin than we could imagine!

Michele brought her contagious love of life in Berlin which gave us an appreciation for the culture. She pointed out the street art, explained the customs of the typical denizens on a typical night out, and immersed us in the lingo and nightlife so we felt like locals by the end of the experience. It was more than we could have hoped-and parted with a sense of friendship and comradeship.

The small tour through Kreuzberg was fantastic, having Amelia on our side showing us spots which we normally would not have visited. The selected beers were tasty even for Germans with some kind of experience. She also made it possible that we switched from Currywurst to Sudanese food which also was delicious. Fully recommend this tour for everyone to get to know how life is going in Kreuzberg!
