Know More about this tour

You will depart from your resort early in the morning for a day trip that will introduce you to the wonders of Bohol. First stop is the Philippine Tarsier Foundation in the town of Corella, which serves as a refuge for the smallest primate in the world, the tarsier. Observe these rare, nocturnal creatures in their natural habitat and be amazed by their agility as they move about, leaping from one tree to the other, and swivel their heads nearly 360 degrees.

Then proceed to Baclayon, make a short stop at the historical Blood Compact site, where Spains Miguel Lopez de Legazpi and Datu Sikatuna, a native chieftain, sealed their friendship with a symbolic drink. In Baclayon, visit a centuries-old stone church that houses a museum containing a collection of religious art, ecclesiastical vestments, as well as librettos of church music inscribed in Latin on animal skins.

You will pass by Bilar man-made forest, a thick undergrowth of towering mahogany trees grown on the fringes of the highway leading to the Chocolate Hills, the countrys geological wonder. From a distance, these hills look like huge candy drops that change in color with the season, and are aptly named chocolate when the hill grasses turn deep brown in summer.

We will hike up to the viewpoint for a birds eye view of the surrounding area before moving on to Loboc River where a cruise downstream on a floating restaurant is made more enjoyable with a delectable lunch served on board. We will return to the hotel by late afternoon.

Our trip was a shared one , we knew this and pick up was on time, Guide gave short introduction at each stop then group had a set time before we moved on. Lunch was initially to be very early 11.30 am but we alll agreed to make the river cruise and lunch last stop after chocolate hills. Viewpoint needs 200 plus steps so not for the lesss mobile. Pity that quad bikes below disturb peace of site. Excellent buffet lunch and river trip with music and bankside cultural show. Good value and varied if you can spare a day off the beach.

This trip is really worthwhile. Bohol countryside turned out to be beautiful with green, lush jungle, rice terraces and, of course, famous Chocolate Hills. Loboc River cruise was also a pleasant surprise with interesting afternoon scenery and a good buffet lunch on board. Our guide Teresa spoke excellent English and was informative and friendly. We rode in a clean, comfortable and well air conditioned car. Overall, money well spent.

I enjoyed the tour so much I would go back and do it again, everyone was very nice and seemed to love their work, the chocolate hills were so beautiful like a fairytale but since it wasn't summer they were green like the colour of the 200 peso note.

Driver was on time, but when we got to the island (after 5 hours of travel), we found out that there is no tour guide and that the driver does not speak English well. They were nice, but we wanted to understand the history and learn more, rather than just have a driver to take us to the sites. It's an expensive trip and when we called the company, they just said: "Your trip does not includes a guide. you can pay extra for that". Choice a different company!

I had already been to Bohol several times, but had never really experienced all the island has to offer. Our tour guide, May, and our driver provided a fantastic day of exploration, set to our pace and desires. They took us to places that we probably would not have ever found on our own. I particularly appreciated our guide navigating all the lines for us and always having the car ready for us when we were ready to move on. I could not recommend more highly. I will definitely look for them again for my next tour.

Really enjoyed this tour! Driver and tour guide were attentive and thoughtful. Omar, our guide, provided fun facts and shared a lot of stories which made the tour memorable. Omar takes great pictures too, made sure we are comfortable, and got us the best table and guides in the facilities we visited.=)
