Overview
Experience the Carpathian wilderness, and see wild brown bears in their natural habitat from the security of one of the many wildlife hides operating in the area. Your guide, an experienced local ranger, will take you with his 4wd car deep into the forests of the Eastern Carpathians, which has one of the largest population concentrations of brown bears in the Carpathian Mountains. Follows an easy to moderate 500m walk from the car to a specially-designed observation hide where you will wait quietly for wildlife. The private experience will last 3-4 hours.Inclusions

We decided to go try bear watching away from the more popular sites around Brasov. The trip was well organised with well coordinated taxi pick ups and drop off as we didn't have our own vehicle. The bear watching was a short ride into the forest and short walk to a nice out. The ranger was knowledgeable and spoke english. After 2.5 hours wait we were lucky with three bears passing by! Highly recommended!!

We werden bij het hotel opgehaald door onze gids. Een vriendelijke jonge man, die vertelde over zijn werk als boswachter. Hij reed heel voorzichtig, zodat we niet te veel hobbelden. In het bos gingen we naar een schuilhut. Hij ging zelf appeltjes strooien om de beren te lokken. Daarna hebben we 2 uur zitten wachten, maar er kwamen helaas geen beren. Wel een hertje. Het werd te donker, zodat hij ons weer naar het hotel heeft gebracht.
