Know More about this tour

Meet your guide upon pickup at your hotel and hop in your comfortable, private minivan for the drive to Mt Geumjeong. Located halfway up the mountain is Beomeosa (Temple of the Nirvana Fish), originally built in 678 during the reign of King Munmu of the Silla Dynasty. Learn about the temple’s history as you explore the complex, including gates, halls, pagodas and stone lamps showcasing Korea’s traditional Buddhist architecture.
Continue on to Gamcheon Culture Village, a fascinating hillside enclave decorated with pastel houses, sculptures and other art installations. Sometimes referred to as the ‘Santorini of the East,’ among other nicknames, Gamcheon as it’s known today was created during the rebuilding phase after the Korean War. Walk with your guide through the labyrinthine alleyways, perhaps stopping at the Sky Garden for the best views.
Enjoy hot stone rice with many delicious side dishes for lunch at a local Korean restaurant.
Afterward, you’ll experience more local life at the vibrant Jagalchi Fish Market, where you can find a diverse array of seafood and dried fish on display. Famous throughout the country, Korea’s largest fish market is representative of Busan, as are the female vendors in their aprons washing down their stalls.
Then drive to Yongdusan Park, a popular destination for locals. From the top of the 394-foot-high (120-meter) Busan Tower, you can view downtown Busan. On a sunny day, keep an eye out for Tsushima Island across the East Sea in Japan.
Your final stop, Gukje Market (International Market), provides plenty of shopping opportunities. Souvenirs and good bargains are easy to find. The wholesale market includes several venues, like Ggangtong Market, Manmul Street and Changsun shopping mall.
After a full-day tour visiting many of Busan’s top attractions, you’re driven back to your hotel.

  • Our Busan city tour was such an amazing experience, we never thought we would love Busan rather than Seoul, probably because of Mr. Cooper, our English tourist guide, who did a really great job through out the day, he was well versed with all the locations, informative and trusted, find no words to describe how unique was this experience for us, furthermore, sufficient free time to do shopping, definitely will recommend this, 6 STARS Thankyou Mr. CooperBusan, we will back again soon xxx Grace from Chester UK

  • This is a great tour! Our tour guide spoke English fluently. She was a fun and friendly young lady, obviously proud of Busan, and very informative. It was lightly raining in the morning when we visited the temple, but our guide furnished an umbrella and the rain did not stop us from enjoying the bright colored lanterns and the quiet calm. Besides the temple, we visited the village, which was full of bright colors and local artwork, and had great craft shops, friendly people, and an interesting history that the guide explained to us. We also saw a sightseeing tower, ate an authentic Korean lunch, and visited the fish market during our tour. Our guide was flexible in allowing us to spend more time in the village, which we really enjoyed. We would highly recommend this tour and the guide we had. She gave us an American name but we unfortunately lost it. But we will always remember her and how she made Busan such a memorable experience for us.

  • This tour was great!!! We had such a great time with our tour guide and saw all the places that we wanted to visit when we first began planning our trip. We had a enough time at each location and didn and #39;t feel rushed at all. Our tour guide was fun and spoke great English. He was also very informative.

  • This tour gives you the best Busan has to offer, all in one day. Busan is a lovely city and worth a few days more to explore. Cooper, our tour guide was the best- knowledgeable and aiming to please. Highly recommended!

  • Kyung Suh, our guide, was very knowlegable of all the places we went to, specially the story behind the Gamcheon Culture Village and the history of the Beomeosa Temple. We enjoyed her company very much.

  • a really holistic tour of Busan! private tour, so very flexible on the timing. tour guide was really nice, friendly, and knowledgable too..
    highly recommend it!

  • Very enjoyable tour of Busan. The tour guide was friendly and flexible.

  • The day we had booked the tour a typhoon hit Busan. The guide, Mr. Jong? still drove us to the temple and when the storm did not abate he offered to do the rest of the tour the following day. The tour was very enjoyable, well worth it and the guide was excellent, very knowledgeable, helpful, good English. We could not have asked for a better guide.

  • Very pleasant experience in Busan. Nice and much information shared by our tour guide Michelle Kim. At the same time I have to appreciate that Mr. Jacky Choi from Kangsan Travel agreed with our request of seeing the shore although it was not included in our tour actyvity. We have seen wonderful places and felt like were together our friends and not tour guides. Thank you dear friends. We hope to meet again. Angela from Romania

  • I booked this tour as a shore excursion as the ships tours didn't offer the Gamcheon Culture Village.
Also, the private tours offer so much more with a personalised and professional service.
The booking process was easy and corresponding directly with the tour company was a breeze.
It was raining on the day, but it didn't stop us from enjoying the sights. The van picked us up at the wharf and contained a couple of umbrellas which were appreciated.
Our guide was lovely and she was informative without being over the top. She even took photos for us. The driver was excellent.
We were able to access the temple, village, sightseeing tower, authentic South Korean lunch, markets and fish market all in one day. We packed in a lot but it wasn't rushed.
We loved the temple which was full of lanterns at the time and the village was fantastic, containing some great craft shops that weren't junky.
We would highly recommend this tour. It was one of the best tours that we have been on!
