  • Highly recommended and the trip to the terracotta museum was the main reason of our trip to Xian. The museum was indeed awesome. Our guide Agnes was wonderful she is very knowledgeable and of great help. She went the extra mile to help us even after the trip

  • Our tour with Linda was one of the highlights of our trip to China. She was flexible and responsive to our interests in structuring a custom itinerary that combined the terracotta warriors with the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and the Shaanxi History Museum and that avoided potentially long lines at those sites. Her knowledge and love of the material came through clearly, especially when she pointed out details we might have otherwise missed on our own. Beyond the sight-seeing, she also had interesting things to say about modern life in China. We would recommend Linda without reservation.

  • Our guide, Nancy, was great! She has been guiding tours in Xian for several years so not only did she know a lot of information about the warriors, but she knew all the good places to dodge crowds for a good view of the pits. We really appreciated that she was happy to talk about the region and could answer any question we had, either about the warriors or the endless pomegranate fields we drove through. She picked a great place for lunch and told us a lot about the local culture. We really enjoyed the tour of the Muslim quarter and mosque, we learned all about the food of the region. She then wrote down directions to some of the other sites we wanted to see while we were in Xian. Nancy was friendly, informative, and really added to our enjoyment of Xian and the terracotta warriors.

  • Linda was amazing. Incredible english, answered all questions fully and nothing was too much trouble. Linda collected us from our hotel at a pre-arranged time, she respected our pace so we didn't feel rushed or like we were spending too long anywhere. She suggested somewhere for lunch and told us about local food, even ordered for us. She was very open about what we did after the terracotta warriors and happily took us to the wild goose pagoda, of which she was very knowledgable and engaging. Linda even explained what a local street food was and helped me purchase some! Very friendly, respectful and engaging - best tour we had on our trip!

  • Starting with the terra cotta warriors what tourist would come to Xian without the entombed warriors on their list? is pretty obvious, and we chose the Muslim quarter and city wall as our other destinations. Viator offer these three as a set tour and includes lunch, but as a private customizable tour with only two people on board we were not bound to somebody else's timetable. Our tour guide, Grace, was lovely, and made our passage through the sites as unfussed as possible. Recommended.

  • Agnes was excellent, very knowledgeable and helpful throughout the day. Plenty of time to visit the 3 main sites, the warriors, wild Goose pagoda and Xi'an wall. We actually had enough time to cycle the wall if we wanted. She also took us to a very good local restaurant, where we had a really nice lunch. I can thoroughly recommend this trip and especially the guide.

  • Our guide, Jane, was great! We took this tour during a very busy holiday in China so we started extra early and ended up beating some of the crowds. Jane was a pro at shortcuts and handling navigating the crowds when things started to get very busy. Very flexible tour and we had so much fun!

  • I arranged and joined this private customized tour in August 2017 with my friends total 4 adults and quite satisfied for what I've experienced. About 5 years ago, the very 1st trip to Xian, I joined a Terracotta tour arranged by a Hotel which took me to a few shopping places before reaching to Terracotta... it was awful. However, this private tour only guided us to the Terracotta place and 2 other sites where we can select on the spot. Our tour guide, Ms. Lisa Liu, was quite helpful and gave us right suggestions and recommendation we didn't waste any minutes! If you are a group of 3-4 persons, 1st time to go to Xian/Terracotta place, I strongly suggest to join this private tour. If you are 1 person and no tour guide required, you may think about a taxi there are many taxi drivers waiting in front of major hotels in the morning although taxi is usually small/bumpy/hard seat which is not very comfortable.

  • Our guide was great - and the experience was wonderful. Two hours walking around the Terracotta Warriors site.
