  • Our guide, Jane, was great! We took this tour during a very busy holiday in China so we started extra early and ended up beating some of the crowds. Jane was a pro at shortcuts and handling navigating the crowds when things started to get very busy. Very flexible tour and we had so much fun!

  • Agnes was excellent, very knowledgeable and helpful throughout the day. Plenty of time to visit the 3 main sites, the warriors, wild Goose pagoda and Xi'an wall. We actually had enough time to cycle the wall if we wanted. She also took us to a very good local restaurant, where we had a really nice lunch. I can thoroughly recommend this trip and especially the guide.

  • I arranged and joined this private customized tour in August 2017 with my friends total 4 adults and quite satisfied for what I've experienced. About 5 years ago, the very 1st trip to Xian, I joined a Terracotta tour arranged by a Hotel which took me to a few shopping places before reaching to Terracotta... it was awful. However, this private tour only guided us to the Terracotta place and 2 other sites where we can select on the spot. Our tour guide, Ms. Lisa Liu, was quite helpful and gave us right suggestions and recommendation we didn't waste any minutes! If you are a group of 3-4 persons, 1st time to go to Xian/Terracotta place, I strongly suggest to join this private tour. If you are 1 person and no tour guide required, you may think about a taxi there are many taxi drivers waiting in front of major hotels in the morning although taxi is usually small/bumpy/hard seat which is not very comfortable.

  • Our guide was great - and the experience was wonderful. Two hours walking around the Terracotta Warriors site.

  • Rosa was an awesome guide. Her extensive knowledge of Xi'an and the terracotta warriors was impressive. She is relaxed, quick to laugh, and flexible. I really enjoyed our day together and would recommend her without hesitation. She took good care of me and was a wonderful host to me while I visited her city.

  • A very fun day with our knowledgeable guide Lisa! Well worth the money and fills a day perfectly!

  • Great trip. Our guide Agnes was a fantastic guide.

  • Julie was our tour guide. As someone who's lived and worked in China for over a decade, I arranged this tour so my mom and sister would have the chance during their first trip to China to experience somewhere besides the gray Northern city where I live. My family had a blast despite the August heat. We toured the Terra Cotta Warriors and opted to see the Banpo Museum and Big Wild Goose Pagoda. Thanks to advice from our guide, we skipped the Shaanxi History Museum and still received a wealth of historical and cultural information while en route and at each site we chose. I can't stress enough what a great job Julie did as our guide. I'd feel more than comfortable recommending Julie as a guide for anyone new to China or an old hand who is looking to learn more about Chinese history and culture.

  • Our guide, Rosa, was very engaging, funny and informed. Her info at the Terracotta site is well organized with a look at some details that make it a pleasure to listen to. Why is this figure different from others? How about the hair? The sandals or color? How do you know this would be an officer or a general or a common soldier And afterwards we had a very very very excellent meal. An excellent tour and tour guide at a world class site.

  • Our group of three adults and two teenagers took this tour on 6/15/17 with Agnes and she was great. She picked us up at our hotel at 8:00 am with her driver and on our way to the Terracotta Soldiers gave us a history of her province and of the Terracotta Warriors. When we arrived at the site about one hour later we first stopped at one of the food stands to get a taste of the delicious scorpions. We were lucky enough that when we stopped by the souvenir store one of the farmers that discovered the the site while digging a well was there. We bough a book and he honored us with his autograph and posed with us for pictures. From there we went inside the complex to tour the site. It was more than what we could have imagined. Agnes took her time to walk us through the site and explained in detail what it all meant. After this, we visited the Horses Museum which was also very interesting. We were done just in time for lunch and she took us to a local restaurant to try the Chinese Burgers which were very good. In the afternoon, we also visited the Shaanxi History Museum and Agnes was there once again to tour the site with us and offer her explanations. Our tour ended with a visit to the Small Wild Goose Pagoda. We highly recommend using Agnes for this tour. She was very informative, spoke good English and most of all made this experience very memorable with her friendly smile.
