If I could rate an 0, I would! Our guide, Muhamed, was horrible. 1. He spoke horrible English. We didn’t understand half of what he was saying. Most of the time he didn’t answer our questions because he didn’t know the answers. 2. He was an hour late picking us up. 3. He smoked a cigarette at almost every stop. Since he walked in front of us at points, we experienced second hand smoke. 4. We had to look for him multiple times as he would disappear in stores with air conditioning. It got so bad, my husband had to have a stern conversation with him. 5. He asked us for more money to stop at the Citadel which was included in the tour. He had to borrow money from another guide to buy the tickets. 6. He would get visibly upset when we told him that we didn’t want to stop at the stores he recommended for us to shop in. 7. He got in a severe argument at the Citadel because he didn’t follow the protocol. We missed a lot of sights and information on this tour because he didn’t know what he was doing. 8. We didn’t even finish the tour because it was that bad! I want my money back.

Uma grande experiência conhecer esse lugar maravilhoso e cheio de curiosidades. Eu tive o prazer ter o Massoud como meu guia, que organizou tudo com muito carinho e muita dedicação. Me deu toda a assistência que eu precisei.

I booked this all inclusive tour with my family. Although we can't fault the guide Ahmad Mohamed, who was obviously knowledgeable in the history, the trip was rushed & not at all what was advertised. It did not appear that Ahmad was informed of the package either as he sought information from us & kept asking for the itinerary. We didn't see Amr bin As mosque as it is under renovation so this was just pointed to us from the road side. The whole trip was approximately 4 hours including traffic from one place to the other yet it was advertised as an 8 hour tour with lunch included ( I will come to the lunch bit later). The overview stated that fees to the entrance is included yet when we started the journey we were told that it wasn't so we had to pay for this ourselves. It also states that lunch is included & we will be given bottled water which we needed at the beginning of the journey but nothing was offered. The lunch was actually falafel & bean paste in half pita bread that was bought from the street together with water whilst we were waiting in the car. This was supposedly the lunch that was offered which we were told we can eat in the car on our journey back to our address. The only positive with the so called lunch was the bottle water was cold. A total rip off for the amount of money paid for the tour and the experience did not match the price. Very disappointed!

To start off, Aziza is an amazing tour guide. It felt like a friend showing around. Everything was very comfortable like we’ve been friends prior to the tour. She’s extremely knowledgeable of all the sites and made sure we got see everything. I highly recommend Aziza as a tour guide. Also shout out to our driver Basem who provided us smooth rides to all the sites.

Mimo's sense of urgency was tested in this tour. With a given ample of time to prepare we were able to push everything through -- with some things adjusted, of course. I was amazed on how he's taken into consideration everything. I am fully satisfied as he explained everything with enough certainty! Thank you Mimo! And, also, I would want to commend Yesser, which supposedly my tour guide, for arranging this meeting! Guys, both of them are your men! You'll definitely be in good hands! Thank you Mimo and Yesser! :)

I was so impressed with my guide Mohamed Mahmoud with Let’s Explore Egypt that I booked two more day trips with them. The Islamic and Coptic tour was fantastic - the Citadel and the most important mosques, churches, and a synagogue. They even arranged for me to get a PCR test to return home, which was a great relief. Lunch was delicious, koshari at famous and popular diner. The driver, Beshoy, expertly and safely navigated the crazy streets of Cairo.

I had a fantastic day with Mohamed Mahmud exploring these amazing sights in Cairo. During the day I learnt a lot about the history of the city. We had enough time at each stop and Mohamed made sure that I feel safe ans comfortable throught the day. I truly recommend this tour to everyone who wants to see these incredible monumenta in Cairo!

Tired of sarcophagus, pyramids & mummies? If you are experiencing overwhelming ancient egyptian information its time to direct your focus to a different era of egyptian civilization. Experience the hidden gem of coptic & islamic cairo —a relaxing tour as you go back to the intersecting history of islam and christianity that succumbed egypt. Our guide turned to personal friend — gamil gamal never fails to give us astonishing information as we visit old mosques & churches. My personal favorite was our visit to the alabaster mosque & the caverine church of the holy family. We were provided with a good driver & was treated with a delicious traditional egyptian lunch! This tour is highly recommended.

So at the beginning just want to mention that it was our second day trip with the best guide ever Gamil and his amazing driver Mgad (in previous excursion we want to Alexandria). It was my dream to explore Coptic and Islamic Cairo to see how different religions was developed and existed side by side in Cairo. And thanks to Gamil and his historic knowledge, I was able better understand the inside of religions and what is behind their great mosques and churches. During our 6 hours trip we had an opportunity to visit: Islamic Cairo - Mosque of Muhammad Ali, Mosque of Ibn Tulun, Mosque-Madrassa of Sultan Hassan, Al-Rifa'i Mosque; Coptic Cairo - The Hanging Church, St. George's church, The Cave Church. Also we had our free bottles of water and soft drinks to keep as hydrated during the excursion day. And we had a chance to try Egyptian shawarma for our lunch (that we enjoyed a lot). As a conclusion if it was able I would love to repeat this day!
