Demi was knowledgeable and extremely accommodating. We were travelling with 11 people ranging from the ages of 13 to 84. We only had a full day in Beijing and decided to only visit the Forbidden City and Great Wall of China. She purchased our tickets in advance and explained to us the history of the Forbidden City. We asked for a quick over review and that is what she gave us since it was 0 degrees outside and windy. At the Mutianyu entrance of the Great Wall, she introduced us to a simple but delicious meal of noodle soups and dumplings. Everyone enjoyed the meal. We all took the chair lift up to the first tower of the Great Wall. Since we were traveling with older parents, she stayed with our parents at the 1st tower and rode down with them while the rest of the group explored the wall and took the toboggan down. The toboggan ride down was enjoyed by the adults and teenagers in our group. I would recommend taking the toboggan ride down. After our full day tour, Demi walked our group to our reserved restaurant which we would not have found without her.

Demi was fabulous. She met us at our hotel on time each day, and on the way to each site, she would give us the historical background and let us know exactly what to expect. The arrangement of the alpine sled ride down from the great wall was a real hi-lite even though it was so cold. She is knowledgeable and able to answer questions without hesitation. Her English is flawless, and she made great suggestions on what to do in the evenings and at downtimes. I would not hesitate to recommend Demi for anyone going to Beijing. She was especially gracious to suggest what we might want to see in other parts of the country even though she was not leading us.

Demi was a very helpful tour guide with reasonable rates. She was easy going, a good communicator, and very knowledgeable. She was flexible with whatever we wanted to do, and arranged a good car for our family. Look how many things we did with her in one day! And this was all with our little baby. Highly recommended!

We were in Beijing for just three days (visa free stopover) so decided to book a private tour as the most efficient way to see the sights in Beijing. We were so lucky to have Lucy as our guide for the three days as she was exceptionally knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. We were met at the airport by Lucy who took us straight to the large, comfortable, air-conditioned car where we could simply put our luggage until we were dropped at our hotel later that afternoon. We went straight to the Great Wall at Mutianyu and Lucy was very patient with us (2 horribly jet-lagged 50 somethings and our 23-year old son) as we dithered over whether to take the cable car or the chair-lift. (We took the cable car in the end as it seemed the easiest option, given our level of exhaustion). The next two days were filled with all the essential sights - Tiananmen Square, The Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven, Summer Palace, The Lama Temple, Confucious Temple, the pandas at the zoo and a glimpse of the Olympic stadium. Lucy was able to find a way to enable me to visit the art museum while she took my husband and son to the Hutongs for a rickshaw ride. We were exhausted, but we felt as though we had really made the most of our limited time in the city. Lucy is a very experienced and professional tour guide, and she made visiting this incredibly busy and challenging city very easy for us. She advised us on the best (and worst!) places to use the bathroom, have lunch/dinner and was very solicitous, suggesting rest stops when it was clear that I was exhausted. She was always punctual with the driver every morning and was very enthusiastic about sharing her extensive knowledge about the culture and history of Beijing. Without Lucy and the tour we would only have been able to see a fraction of the city, and would have left with a much less rich experience. I cannot recommend highly enough.

we took a 2 days private tour with demi tour in beijing. it was the most fantastic tour that we had in 12 days in china. it started that we had a pick up with a big van (4 people) from the airport at night, and at the next morning he waited for us with an exelant lovely guide name nansi that took us to all the best places that beijing has to offer. the great wall, tienenman squar, forbbiden city and more, for 2 full exiting and full of chinies history in an amazing places. i must say that all the tour nansi (that works 18 years as a tour guide) explaned to us with a lot of paytion and with uge knoledge about china's history and every place we have been we where stoned. we recomend deeply to take demi tour for minimum 2 days (3 is better but we had no time) it will be the best private tour that you can have in beijing

I booked a two day tour with Demi while my visit to Beijing and it was incredible! The booking process was very smooth as Demi always responded to my inquires on a timely manner. She also was very acommodating on making a few changes to our itinerary and gave us advise on how to best utilize our time in Beijing. Demi's English is great, and each day we spent with her, she provided us with incredible historical background of the spots we were going to visit; this gave us better appreciation of the places we were visiting. On both days, she met us promptly at our hotel in a nice, ample vehicle. The driver was also super friendly and very skilled at navigating the streets in Beijing. We had lunch at the spots Demi recommended and both were great options. The pace of the tour was perfect! We didn't feel rush at all and, at the same time, we had ample time to cover all of what we had to see in the City. Demi is super friendly and engaging. Even after our tour day ended, she gave us excellent choices on how to explore the city at night. I am so glad we had her as our tour guide. She was super friendly and very knowledgeable. I would recommend hiring Demi for as many days as you are in Beijing to get the most of your trip.
