Stop At: Mahamuni Pagoda, Mandalay Myanmar
This day, you guide and driver will pick you up from your own booked hotel in Mandalay. After a short greeting, you will be escorted to the first stop of this day tour - the Mahamuni Pagoda.
This pagoda is famous for its golden bronze Buddha image with a weight of 6.5 tonnes and a height of 4 meters. The ancient tradition mentions the Buddha only created five likenesses during his lifetime; two in India, two in Heaven and the last one is the Mahamuni Buddha in Burma. That is the reason why the Buddha Image is considered as an expression of the Buddha's life and is highly respected by the people of Myanmar.

Stop At: Mahar Gandar Yone Monastery, Pyin Oo Lwin, Myanmar (Burma)
Next, you will come to the world-known Mahar Gandar Yone Monastery. There are two kinds of monks in Myanmar, including the student monks and the forest monks. Majority of the monks in this monastery are student monks who study in the Buddha literature here. Monks in this monastery maintain the tradition of begging for alms, but they no longer need to go out. Every morning, you will see nearly 1,000 monks, aged between 8 and 80, lining up to receive their breakfast. It has been a spectacular scenery for local people and tourists to see so many monks having breakfast together.

Stop At: Sagaing Hill, Sagaing Myanmar
In the afternoon, you will be escorted to the Sagaing Nunnery first. You can further know the daily life of Burmese nuns. Then your driver will take you up to the Sagaing Hill. Here you will have a panoramic view of the whole Mandalay. You can immerse yourself in the beautiful scenery on the hill.

Stop At: U Bein Bridge, Mandalay, Myanmar (Burma)
The last stop of this day tour is U Bein Bridge, which was built in 1850 and built from wood reclaimed from the destroyed former royal palace in Inwa. And it is considered as the oldest and the longest teakwood bridge in the world. You will take a guided boat ride to enjoy the soft sunset over the Taungthaman Lake. The wooden bridge and the sunset enhance each other's beauty, which will make you feel peace and tranquility. At the end of this day, you will be escorted back to your hotel in Mandalay.
