Badaling Great Wall is the most famous and the best-preserved section of the Chinese Ming Dynasty Great Wall. You will take the cable car up to the Great Wall, your guide will accompany you along the wall and give a full explanation about the history background.

Stop At: Commune by the Great Wall, Exit at Shuiguan, Badaling Highway, Beijing 100022 China
Afterwards, you willheading to the Commune restaurant to have a delicious lunch, bothChinese food and western food is available.
After lunch,your guide will accompany you to find the small mountain path and hike all the way up to the top. Your guide will explain the detailed history and stories behind the wall, and you will then have some free time to explore around. The Commune by the Great Wall is a private collection of modern architecture and SOHO China managed boutique hotel, in Beijing. The Commune consists of private villas designed by 12 prominent Asian architects. This project's vision was to encourage creativity to influence a new generation of Asian architects, developers and consumers.

I was in Beijing for work and decided to take a day tour of the Great Wall on my day off-and am so happy that I did! This was a fantastic experience and I would recommend it to anyone, young or old. The private tour was a must! I had the chance to ask every question I could possibly think of and Lucy (my tour guide) was not only super personable, she was full of information, so I learned a lot!! She was able to cater the tour completely to my request. We wrapped up the day with a delicious lunch. Make sure you bring your walking shoes (the wall is quite a hike) and a light jacket as the weather is much cooler than in the city. You don't have to worry about a thing- all you have to do is book and show up in your hotel lobby at the time they say. The tour guide and driver handle the rest! Amazing experience!
