A most excellent walking tour of the Forbidden City. Our English speaking guide Bruce (Bruce Lee is his hero) was extremely knowledgeable & knows all the hot spots & shortcuts! Try the tea at the Emperor’s tea house - amazing experience.

I had a little time in Beijing and decided to do a tour. It was a fabulous time walking around Beijing with Jerry. He was an exceptional guide, very knowledgeable and his English was great. He was a lovely person to spend time with and get to know the city. The highlight - his recommendation for “Peking Duck”. He took me to this restaurant and I had the best duck of my life! I highly recommend

Susan was perfectly on time meeting us at our hotel and led us on a very lovely half-day tour of the Forbidden City + a walkthrough of Tiananmen Square. She was very knowledgable, upbeat, patient, and a tireless photographer. We highly recommend her!

Coco and our driver Mr. Shi really made sure our family had an authentic, leisurely experience. We knew the main sites we wanted to see, but Coco took us to some amazing restaurants and customized both days to make sure we could fit in things like a couple of hours at the silk market, visit to a tea master to taste different teas that were so flavorful and made for great gifts, a drive by the Olympic venues on our way back from the wall, etc. She shared so much information with us and allowed us to ask lots of questions - she kept all 5 of us interested and we have such a deeper appreciation now for the culture. We expected Beijing to be smoggy, busy and difficult to find food we'd enjoy. It was none of those and I think a lot of it had to do with Coco as she'd listen to us and made sure we'd experience what we were interested in....for example we wanted to try Peking duck but were hesitant to go to a restaurant just for that, so she took us to this super cute food market inside one of the hutongs where they made Peking duck on a pancake for us all to try.

Viator website was efficient and easy to book with accurate information regarding the tours. Overall I thought the value of the tour was worth it. Pick up was flawless and they were on time. The Beijing tour with Lily was very pleasant. She is knowledgeable, witty, and knows the city extremely well. We opted not to visit Tiananmen Square due to crowds and I was very happy with the alternative choices she gave me. For one, we rented bikes for part of the day which allowed us to see quite a bit more of the city. She also brought me to a Fabulous Mongolian Hot Pot restaurant. I had described a restaurant that I had researched on the internet and she recommended this one instead. It was great, a local favorite. We also stopped by a Tea House at my request which surpassed my expectations. My day with Lily was amazing and I strongly recommend her as well as the company.
