Akil, our guide was speaking german and very good for the tours in Taj Mahal and the Red Fort.
The VIP entrees helped us to not to long waiting.
I have waited for the longest time to fulfill the dream of visiting this magnificent site.
We are so grateful to all the staff who made this trip to my husband so pleasant. He travels on a transport chair and many of the times it’s challenging to move around.
I highly recommend this wonderful tour!
The tour was nice and well organized. The tour guide was well prepared and very knowledgeable of the history of the Taj Mahal. We did't like his persistence with writing this review right then and there.
At the beginning of the experience the train took longer than expected. I understand that this was not the fault of the agency or the guide. However, the guide took more time than necessary in some activities and consequently we couldn't visit the Baby Taj Mahal. This place was paid, but the agency didn't recognize that. Then, for the train back, there was the risk that the train was again delayed, so the agency suggested to send us by taxi back. This sounds nice in principle, but first, the train came with dinner included, which they didn't recognize. Second, the car driver that they rented was rude and played tricks to charge extra money (and besides that, he dares to ask for tip). Hence, my recommendation is NOT to book the all paid tour, but to book the one that you can pay by yourself at each part. In that way, if they can't deliver, you dont lose money. And second, if they suggest you to send you by private car make very clear that you want that the dinner is recognized and about the taxi, that the agency pays the transport via the "Delhi Express Way" and not via the long old way. Once you are sure about that, then you can just arrive to your place in Delhi in a safe way without having to discuss with him about extra charges.
Buyer beware this is not a train or sunset tour! We were told the “train was delayed” or booked on both ways of our trip. I bought this tour months ago and for them to have the nerve to say we couldn’t use the train was very frustrating. It was because of Maria’s tours pour planning we could not get rain tickets. We also verified ahead of time that we could take the late train so we could be there during sunset. Again we were given another excuse that you couldn’t see the sunset anyway. We specifically booked this tour for two reasons 1. To take the train coming and going 2. To be in Agra for the sunset even if it wasn’t a good. We paid for a service and got something else we were not happy about it. But just like every experience in India for us was you don’t get what is stated beforehand so don’t expect it. The other very upsetting thing is we were asked to write a review on trip advisor after are lunch , which was before they changed the whole tour on us. I would not use this company again based on my experience. The service they offer does not exist pick another company.
I enjoyed this tour. It was really convenient as I was in Delhi only for one day. I didn't have enough time and to be frank, the effort to figure out how to get to Agra once I was in Delhi. This tour took care of everything. From the pickup from our hotel to the train station to the drive to the sights and back again, everything was taken care of. We took the full option, so the food was taken care of. The restaurant was nice, it had various dishes to choose from read: non-veg option. We had to forego our trip to Fatehpur Sikri because we spent too much time in one of the shops buying stuff. Of course, if u are not keen on going to the shops to buy the items, u can just mention it to the guide. I'm sure they'll oblige.. In any case, out tour guide, Ravi was great. Very knowledgeable on the history of the area and overall nice guy. I recommend it if you just don't have time to plan for or know how to go about visiting Taj Mahal and the Agra area.
The tour was realty good and the timing was impeccable for all arrivals and departures. I would change just one thing. On the outbound, the pickup time given was a 3 hour window on my voucher from 0400-0700. There was no way to send an email to Viator to ask for a pickup time. I did not have an international call phone. I had to WhatsApp a friend in the states to make the call to get an accurate pickup time of 0445. This should just be automatically emailed without the need to inconvenience a traveler in a strange country country to navigate.
BEWARE!!!!! This tour was horrendous!!!! I traveled with a girlfriend and we felt VERY unsafe!!!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!
Nice excursion! My guide had perfect Spanish and we visit all places specified. They were very kind and polite. The entrances cost are 2020 INR and I spent another 1000 for lunch. The only bad points were:
- Train: in the train to go I went in second class. In the middle seat between a big man and another unpolite. The train to come back was was first class and was better very far anyway from European first or second class
- We finished the tour two hours in advance as were were lucky with small queues in the places and fewtraffic. They left me waiting in a cafeteria where the wifi was not working properly and there was nothing to do
All in all good tour. The guide in Agra was not the best. He was not very informative, and seemed more interested in his cell phone and text messages than my tour.
