Suzhou is a lovely town, one of my favorites. I am so glad I went, but I did not feel comfortable doing all the traveling on my own. Sunny made the trip easy in every way. I loved the city, the history that Sunny shared, the food she chose, and the company. Sunny guided me every step of the way and also taught me a lot about life in China. Sunny is a fun and spunky person and also an excellent planner.

Sunny did a perfect job of guiding us through the transportation and the joyful experience of Suzhou. We loved both the visit to the preserved historic part and modern Suzhou. The lunch at the restaurant of her choosing was the best meal we had in our two weeks in China. Aside from her making smooth arrangements, Sunny was a perfect travel companion. Highly recommend.

Had a great time in Suzhou with our tour guide Annie. We went through all the transit seamlessly and hit all the major points. It was nice just being able to enjoy and learn about a destination without having to deal with logistics.
-
Rita was one of the best tour guides we had in China. Her English was perfect and she was also patient and knowledgeable of the history of China. We had a car pick us up and visit the town of Suzhou but did not have enough time to visit any other town. It was a full day returning at 6pm. Rita made it an amazing day.

The service was very propmt right from booking to execution. Guide was very helpful and eager to work around the needs of the group. Highly recommend.

We booked the all-inclusive version of the private day trip to Suzhou, with the bullet train option. Ruby cheerfully picked us up at our hotel and the private car driver took us all to the train station. Ruby provided us our train tickets and answered any questions we had. The bullet train was clean and quick (300 kmh); the trip to Suzhou was less than 30 minutes. From there, another private car driver took us into town. Suzhou's Historic District is large and provides a glimpse into the past. Ruby took us on a tour through the Humble Administrator's Garden, which has beautiful landscaping, buildings, furnishing and art. We later enjoyed a delicious lunch at a local Chinese restaurant. Ruby then took us on a walk through part of the old town and then on a Gondola ride on one of Suzhou's many canals, explaining the area history and architecture. We then took a private car to a Silk Factory, where Ruby provided a tour; learning about the silk manufacturing process, all the way from cocoon to fabric. Even had a chance to tour a large on-site store; my wife loves her new silk scarf. One more car trip back to the bullet train station, and a quick ride back to Shanghai. Another private car took Ruby and us back to our hotel. Everything went according to plan, and Ruby was a wonderful host and guide. We'd highly recommend the Sunny Private Day Trip from Shanghai to Suzhou, all-inclusive, with the bullet train option. It made for a great and memorable day.

We booked this tour with Sunny Tours and it really was worth it. Annie was our guide and she was great. She picked us up at our hotel on time and took us to Bullet train station. Rapidly, we arrived at Suzhou and the first stop was at Classical Gardens of Suzhou. Beautiful place to enjoy and learn more about Chinese traditions. We had lunch in a typical restaurant and Annie recommended us to try squirrel fish, a famous Suzhou food, which was delicious. Then, we visited a Buddhist Temple right in front of the restaurant and headed to Old City, where we took a pleasant canal boat ride. Finally, we had a walk along the streets admiring the architecture and buying souvenirs. Our return to Shanghai was fast with the Bullet train. Thanks to Sunny Tours, we had a great time over there.

This is our first trip to Suzhou and judging from many excellent reviews in Trip Advisor. We decided to go with Sunny Tour and we are very happy with our decision. We are glad to have Annie as our tour guide. She is patient and thoughtful as we have a four years old kid travelling with us. She is also very knowledgeable in all the places at Suzhou and she speaks very fluent English. We first arrived at the Garden of Suzhou and Annie showed us around the various places and explain to us the history behind the various rooms and artefacts. Next, Annie brought us to a restaurant to have our lunch. She recommended us to take the fried squirrel fish which is very famous in Suzhou and her recommendation was spot on. The lunch was good and my family enjoy it. After lunch, we head down to take a short boat ride along the canal where someone will row the boat to enjoy the beautiful scenery. It reminds us of the gondola ride we took in Venice few years back. After the boat ride, we took a short stroll along the old street where you can purchase local snacks and souvenirs. Kudos to Annie and Sunny Tour! We will definitely book Sunny Tour if we visit China again.

Although it is not peak season to visit Suzhou in December, we had an absolutely amazing day with Lily. The gardens were not crowded at all so we had a very peaceful walk , enjoying Lily’s explanations behind the symbolism and design of the gardens. We then had a lovely peaceful boat ride through the canals and then visited a silk factory followed by traditional Suzhou lunch and then walk through the old streets. Afterwards Lily also helped us with picking up our train tickets for our Shanghai to Shenzhen train trip later in the week. We really enjoyed this day trip with Lily as our guide, very informative, organised and not rushed at all. highly recommend it.
