Know More about this tour

Your day will begin with a 6am pickup from anywhere in Jaipur and you'll enjoy a 4-hour scenic drive to Agra.
Around 9am En-route stop to visit Fatehpur Sikri (own expense), which has been described as “the world’s most perfectly preserved ghost town.” Built by Akbar in the late 16th century, it was abandoned after only 14 years, and the elegant buildings of this superb walled city remain intact to this day. By 10am You'll leave Fatehpur Sikri and continue on your drive to Agra which should take about 1 hour from Fatehpur Sikri.
After you reach Agra, you'll have a few minutes to freshen up upon arrival in Agra and will be advised by your professional tour guide to the meeting time and place to continue sightseeing as you travel to the Taj Mahal, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. A trip to Agra would not be complete without a visit to this shimmering vision of domes and minarets. The world's best-known tomb stands testimony to the timeless love story of the 17th century Mughal Emperor, Shah Jahan and his wife, Queen Mumtaz Mahal. (The Taj Mahal is closed every Friday.)
After lunch you'll visit the imposing Agra Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.  Built by Emperor Akbar in 1565 A.D, this huge fort is made of red sandstone. The maze of the courtyards, mosques and private chambers of the fort echo the story of the Mughal Empire.
After visiting Agra Fort, enjoy shopping tour of Agra to explore the local handicrafts centers of the city where we can look for Agra's major handicraft products besides marble inlay work, fine quality carpets, jewelry and embroidery, brassware, leather goods, etc.
After sightseeing in Agra, you'll be driven back to Jaipur and dropped off at your hotel, airport or anywhere in Jaipur city.

We had an awsome day with our driver and guide from Jaipur to Agra! We were picked up at 6 am and drove to Fatepur Sikri where we we were guided around the beautiful fort. After that we drove towards Agra and were able to decide for ourselves if we wanted lunch before or after going to Taj Mahal. The trip around Taj Mahal was beautiful and our guide had a lot of knowledge about the surrounding area and the palace. He let us take as long as we wanted to take pictures and enjoy the view. After Taj Mahal we went to the Red Fort and were given an equally educating and beautiful tour. On the way home we even were able to stop at a store to buy water and snacks that we needed at our hotel. Throughout the trip we were given bottles of water (which was needed bc of the hot and humid weather), and the car was big, clean and comfortable with ac! Would 100% reccomend!! We had an amazing day
