Know More about this tour

Be picked up from your hotel in Delhi at 6:00am and taken to Jaipur. Upon arrival, meet your private tour guide at the Amer fort. Enjoy riding on a open Jeep to and from the top of the hill where the fort is situated. The Amer fort is known for its artistic Hindu-style elements. This opulent palace is laid out on four levels, each with its own courtyard. The fort overlooks Maota Lake and is the main tourist attraction in Jaipur.

Later, visit Jal mahal Palace while driving through (entry is closed to the public), located in the middle of Man sagar lake and surrounding Aravalli hills and the bustling city of Jaipur.

Next, visit Hawa mahal (Palace of Winds), so named because it was built with a high screen wall so the women of the royal household could watch street festivals while unseen from the outside. Constructed of red and pink sandstone, it sits on the edge of the City palace, and extends to the Zenana, or women's chambers. After visiting Hawa mahal, you will be taken for lunch (at own expense).

After lunch, visit the City palace in the heart of Jaipur, which includes the Chandra and Mubarak Mahal palaces and other buildings which are known for the blend of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture. The Chandra Mahal now houses a museum, but the largest part of it is still the royal residence. The palace complex, located north east of the center of Jaipur, incorporates an impressive and vast array of courtyards, gardens and buildings. Enjoy the fine collection of textiles, costumes and armor at the City palace. Later in the evening you will explore a local market with your guide.

Finally, see the observatory of Jantar mantar, built by the renowned astronomer Maharaja Jai Singh. After the tour is over, you will be taken back to Delhi and arrive at your hotel at approximately midnight.

Very attractive tour. The way from Delhi to Jaipur was very busy and long, but all rest was amazing.

The tour says you are able to ride an elephant up to the fort, this did not happen unless you leave very very early from Delhi as they stop those rides at 10:30am which is doesn't say on the tours I made it very clear I wanted to do the elephant ride and was not able to as I wasn't picked up in time to make it to Jaipur to do the elephant ride. Driver did not speak any English for this long car ride and got lost for over 1.5 hours on way as well and was pulled over by police for something which he had to pay for-seems like they need to look into the drivers for this trip more and the timing.

The tour guide in Jaipur was fantastic! His knowledge of Jaipur and the sites was excellent. However, we felt the driver was extremely aggressive and dangerous. We realize driving in India is unorganized, and a bit harrowing, however, the level of danger in his driving was much more than we felt was necessary. We felt unsafe many times during the drive. Also, the tour describes visiting Jal Mahal Palace and in Jaipur, we were told that's been closed for a while. So, disappointed that was advertised in the description.
