  • Great tour of Shanghai in one day. Our guide Alana provided us with a glimpse of the different sides of Shanghai. We started with Fuxian park which is frequented by locals. Then we proceeded to the Bund area where Alana showed us where to get perfect photos with Shanghai's tall buildings. We also had a very appetizing dimsum lunch. After lunch, we rode the ferry on the Huangpu river on our way to the enchanting Yuyuan gardens. We also visited a temple near the Yuyuan gardens. We capped off the tour with a tea ceremony in a Confucian temple. Alana was a wonderful and knowledgeable guide who provided us with an amazing tour of Shanghai.

  • I spent an amazing day with Alana Wu on a personalized walking tour of Shanghai. Right on time Alana met me at my hotel. We briefly discussed my expectations for the day and we were off! The day was spent seeing fantastic sights of Shanghai by metro, walking, and Didi(like Uber). I appreciated the opportunity to walk through Fuxing Park like the locals, tour the French Concession by foot, the Bund, and the artists’ alley at Tianzifang. Lunch was at a fried dumpling spot as requested! In all we spent eight hours touring. Alana was an excellent guide and made my day in exciting Shanghai amazing! Thanks Alana for the pleasant day in your exciting beautiful city from Ron Tollefson.

  • We started with the Propaganda posters, then the Jade Buddha temple, the Yuyuan gardens and vegetarian lunch, tea tasting, and the Shanghai Museum. Snow was very helpful in explaining history and navigating the city. We enjoyed everything on the tour.

  • I selected this tour because I had only one day to see the major sights solo and wanted to walk the streets and get a feel for the metro, buses, etc. instead of using a driver. I liked that I could customize the tour per my interests. We had a beautiful day exploring both sides of Shanghai from quiet temples to the bold Bund and the lovely Yuyuan Gardens with a glimpse of real life hustle-bustle Shanghai woven in, including lunch at a great dumpling restaurant with the locals. Alana is a sweet, knowledgeable guide and brings a camera of her own to take photos of your group and help document your day. It was a wonderful overview for a first-timer and gave me ideas about a deeper dive into Shanghai for my next trip.
