A bit of a drive to get to but the scenery and beauty of the mountains and the reservoir were amazing. Our picnic lunch set up for us by our guide was really special right on the edge of the reservoir. It's definitely a whole day and well worth it.

Patricio is an excellent guide who not only knows the area and the terrain, but its history. Very friendly and chatty, he kept us informed throughout the trip. The landscape around the reservoir is impressive, and gives a sense of peace that makes you want to come back whenever you remember it. The picnic was very nice Wine at 10:00 am? Of course!, And the food varied and more than enough. On the way back we made several stops to admire different landscapes. In short, it was an enriching experience, and if I return to Santiago, I'do it again!
