Overview

FATIMA was a humble village inhabited by equally humble people who basically depended from grazing sheep's and agriculture. In 1917, an event would change the lives of three children and the village itself, which would become the largest pilgrimage center in the western world.

In this tour you will visit the Sanctuary of Ftima and its monuments, a place of peace, tranquility and prayer. Start your visit with the Chapel of the Apparitions, considered the heart of the Sanctuary. The Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary, the Basilica of the Holy Trinity, the High Cross, the Fountain and a section of the Berlin Wall are another part of this visit. You will have time to enjoy them.

After the Sanctuary, visit Aljustrel and Valinhos, places where in 1916 the Angel of Peace appeared to the three Little Shepherds and where the fourth Apparition of our Lady took place in August 1917. Visit their homes in Aljustrel.

This was a truly special tour. Pedro, our driver and guide, was incredibly knowledgeable about Our Lady of Fatima, the history, and the surrounding area. We had multiple stops along the way and had requested a special pickup in Nazare as opposed to Lisbon. Everything was accomodated with grace and a smile.

Amazing trip! Our Tour Guide, Pedro, was amazing! He gave us so much info we didn't know. We loved every minute of our tour. Highly recommend to anyone who loves God, the Blessed Virgin Mary, and all things about the miracle at Fatima.

This is a slightly different review since I unfortunately had to cancel my tour with Estrela d'Alva Tours at the very last minute due to a double booking mistake that I made. The cancellation was after the refund deadline but when I contacted Estrela d'Alva Tours and explained the mistake they were very understanding and accommodating. They did not have to issue a refund because it was my mistake but all the same they were extremely honorable and gracious. I was very happy and grateful for their actions and response and I can completely recommend this company as being one that is full of integrity and is customer service oriented. Any future tour I do in Portugal will be with this company as they are one you can completely trust.

O casal Filomena (a Filó) e Pedro me atenderam muito bem.

If Our Lady or Lady of The Rosary or Mary (see has numerous alias 😆... relax it's just a joke) needs a tour guide than she should call on Pedro. She might even learn a few things.

Unfortunately we had to cancel our trip for Medical reasons. They were extremely easy to work with and even called to check in with us once we cancelled.
