Know More about this tour

Your private driver-guide picks you up at your accommodation in the morning to begin your Bali sightseeing tour. Before setting off, listen to your guide's brief discussion about what to expect for the day.

Firstly we visit Penglipuran Traditional Village, located in Kubu in the Bangli regency, where Balinese traditions and customs are still practiced; you might have the chance to see local villagers performing cultural rituals.

Continue to Mt. Batur, a volcano also known as Kintamani, where you can admire a view of its caldera. Then head to the village of Temen to visit a coffee plantation, where you'll learn about the coffee-making process and can sample a few different varieties. You might also be able to try luwak coffee, one of the most expensive coffees in the world, made by collecting coffee beans eaten and digested by wild civets.

Next head to Tirta Empul Temple (Spring Holy Temple), located in the village of Manukaya. Tirta Empul is actually the name of a water source within the temple where the Balinese go to bathe in the sacred waters for healing and spiritual benefits. Then check out the Tegalalang Rice Terrace near Ubud, known for the traditional Balinese cooperative irrigation system called subak. Your tour ends by visiting some of Bali's art villages, such as Tohpati, known for batik; Celuk, known for gold and silver; Batuan, known for painting; and Mas, known for wood carving. After this, your driver-guide returns you to your hotel.

  • Ngurah was great driver, very accommodating. On time and punctual. Spoke good English and was very courteous. Was extremely hot so the A/C van really helps. Would recommend this company.

  • Our driver, Adhi, was wonderful! He was already waiting for us before our scheduled pick-up time, spoke English well, and was knowledgeable throughout the entire trip.

The day started by a bit of a drive up to a traditional Balinese village. Here, he and the locals helped explain what daily life is like living in the village. He was more than happy to take any pictures we wanted doubling as our guide and photographer. From there we went up to Kintamani to have a very good Balinese buffet lunch with an amazing view of the volcano.

After lunch we visited the coffee plantation. We are not really coffee drinkers, but we tried everything they gave us, and it was very good.

Next we traveled to Tirta Empul Temple. It was truly beautiful and amazing to see the water come up from under the Earth.

Finally, we made our way through the rice patties and into Ubud where we had the opportunity to stop at several shops to see and purchase their beautiful art.

Overall, this trip was wonderful. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone and everyone. You cannot beat the price and quality!

  • Highly recommended. Good day was a great driver and allowed us to get to know Bali very well for our first day on the island. Tour included coffee plantation. Lunch in front of volcano temples and much more. His information was on point! Great culture knowledge

  • I had just taken this tour on 29th November 2016, and i would likento highly recommend this tour for anyone that would like to experience the local artistic beauty of Bali. I had gotten a chance to see local dance, silver works, wood works. The high light of the trip has to be having my linch with a view of the Volcano.
Special thanks to our guide Puta and the driver for the wonderful trip.

  • WOW!! This trip was amazing!! Putu made this day memorable forever! He was punctual, friendly, knowledgeable about all aspects of Bali, but most impressing was his outstsnding English and communication. I do not have one bad word to say, and would highly recommend booking him for anything in Bali :)
