Our very nice driver Nadeem was on time and the car was incredibly clean. He brought flowers to celebrate our arrival to the Pink City too :) Our guide Parek Ji was knowledgeable and knew to explain the highlights of monuments and then allow some time for us to explore on our own. The explanation of the Jantar Mantar instruments was particularly interesting. It was also my birthday and they even surprised us with a cake at lunch! The lunch stop was clearly the choice for many tour guides but the service was good.

My group of 3 had a couple days in Jaipur before attending a wedding so we booked a tour with Janu's company last minute - the night before our tour! Janu was extremely prompt and confirmed my booking within an hour, messaging me the driver details. The next morning, we were warmly greeted by our excellent tour guide, Krishan Paliwal, in the hotel lobby. The driver's car was extremely comfortable and spacious for 3 of us in the backseat and even offered us bottled water during the tour. The driver's name was Mr. Rafik, and he was a very skillful and calm driver. Very much appreciated his driving style in the chaotic city roads of India. Our tour guide, Krishan, was extremely articulate and excellent English speaker. He explained the history of Jaipur during our drive to the sites on the itinerary, and shared a wealth of detailed knowledge about each site we visited. He was also a great photographer and offered to take dozens of fun pictures of us! He was very enthusiastic, friendly, and had great positive energy throughout the day. Krishan made this tour beyond our expectations, and was truly the best guide we've ever had! I cannot recommend him and this tour package enough. Thank you Janu for organizing this, and Krishan and Mr. Rafik for the wonderful tour of Jaipur.

Jaipur is a beautiful city with plenty to see. Our guide try to take the easy way by just posing for some picture in front of the Hava mahal. When we told him we anted to go inside, he said there was nothing to see, and the wait at the fort was too long. Turns out he knew our guide in Udaipur who 'encouraged' him to show us the details we had paid for. The new and improved version of the guide gave us a real tour, including the fort and elephant village. We were able to have an excellent tour, make sure you ask for the detailed version or you will be taken shopping.

We visited the amber fort, the jal mahal, jantar mahal and the city palace.
Somehow the guide did not take me to the hawa mahal, which is too bad since we were so close by the city palace.
The tour ended at 2:30 pm, only 6 hours after the pickup at the hotel. We also stopped for lunch for an hour which means that the tour only lasted 5 hours. And during that time I was also taken to a jelewery shop, where I felt a bit pressured to buy things that I don't need.
So for a tour that was supposed to be 8 hours in duration and at 4400 rupees, I was disappointed.
The guide, Surya was nice and seemed knowledgeable though most of his captions sounded like a recitation from a high school history book.

We didn’t want to do the elephant ride up to the fort- which no one should. So our driver took us to an amazing temple while we drove up to the fort. We stopped to take pictures in front of the water palace and the wind palace. We decided not to go into the city palace so we spent that time shopping instead. Our guide was great because he would tell us about the attraction and let us take our time taking pictures and walking around.

Kumar, our guide, was extremely informative and easy to understand. He tailored the tour to what we were interested in seeing. He is very knowledgable about the sites around Jaipur, he even gave us a detailed description of each painting at the City Palace. Additionally, if you are interested in finding authentic art and block print around Jaipur, wait until the tour to go shopping. Our guide helped us find authentic block print and avoid the many counterfeits around town. Our stay in Jaipur would not have been the same without this tour.

I am really happy I found Janu Tours. And I think all is already said… Janu and his staff are 100% reliable. My guide was knowledgeable, and I felt very secure with him and the driver. I would defenitly book Janu tours again.

Highly recommended. Perfect to see Jaipur in a day. Both the guide and driver were very friendly and accommodating to my requests. I'd take tours again with them.

We had a wonderful time with Janu Private Tours in Jaipur, our guide was extremely knowledgeable and Janu who was driving us himself made sure that we felt comfortable the whole time. The Royal Cemetery was a highlight of the tour, it is a very special and beautiful place, with very few tourists. Also, as we were working during the week and still a bit jet lagged, Janu recommended a great Ayurvedic massage place where we got the most relaxing massage ever. Hoping to come back soon for a longer tour! Definitely recommend.
