Guide was excellent. She was highly knowledgeable and very pleasant. However, only because of the long drive time to Alexandria from Cairo, I would not necessarily do this tour if you are at all short on vacation time. Our driver showed up early, communicated well through WhatsApp, and spoke excellent English. Overall an enjoyable day.

They asked us $30 at the last moment. Most expensive tours of all! And Car was not in a good condition either. Guide was okay. Driver was good.

My husbands and I had a very nice time on this tour. Our guide Emaan A. Is very professional and informative . We enjoyed her company and the many conversations we had in regards to Egypt .We would highly recommend her for future guide and the driver that accompanied us on the trip. Egypt is best explored with a awesome guide as Emaan .

Never actually got to do the tour because a driver/tour guide never showed up at my hotel to do the tour. Tried to contact the company the morning of and no one answered the phone or what’s app messages.

be carefull with operators you use. On this case, I did the reservation 6 months ago, contact the operator 24 before and confirm my tour, the same day of the tour, operator send me a message saying driver was waiting on the hotel entrance. but Mr. Bassam was lying after 2 hours waiting, NOBODY SHOW UP and nobody explain me what happen. My message is to VIATOR, be careful with your operators, I will never use your services again.

The guide was knowledgeable about the sites. The Citadel was a favorite site. The kids really enjoyed it.

We booked an all day Alexandria tour with Bes Tours. Part way through the tour, we found out it was subcontracted to Lets Explore Egypt. The miscommunication between the companies was a disaster. Lets Explore Egypt thought it was only supposed to be a half day tour. They did not know what landmarks we were supposed to go see. We had to keep telling the guide and the driver where we were supposed to go. and keep showing the email proof and confirmations of what was included at every stop. Entrance fees were supposed to be included but we needed to pay the entrance to the last attraction ourselves. The tour guide was supposed to speak English but his English was very limited and he stopped providing information after the first attraction. Lunch was also supposed to be included as it was an all day tour and they insisted several times that it was not. We were hurried along the locations we wanted to visit and instead of bringing us directly to the hotel, at the end, they did a massive detour (over 1h) to bring us to a store we never agreed to and we almost missed our evening plans. It was an extremely stressful day, very frustrating and we never got anything to eat despite the fact that we insisted so much.

Had a great time with Emeel in Alexandria today. He arrived at my hotel early. The locations we visited were interesting, and the seafood lunch was one of the best I've had in Egypt.

We started the day trip to Alexandria at around 8:25AM. The tour guide was Mr. Ali. The driver Mr. Gad (I hope the spelling is correct) is an excellent driver. It took us around 3 hours to reach our first destination. Overall, the trip was okay. It's just that my expectation was so high. May be because I had visited so many other cities and historical sites around the world before I finally visited Egypt. And I just visited several Europeans countries/cities right before I arrived in Egypt (stopped here on my way back to my country). Alexandria to me was an old city; not very presentable (dirty and congested with cars/vans/etc. trying to get through some narrow roads); need some improvement; not sure if I want to come here again. The historical sites were not as great as I had expected; so it’s below my expectation.
