Sarena dzamija or Colorful Mosque is one of most magnificent mosques in Bosnia and Herzegovina
he fortress of Jajce sits above the town at an altitude of 470m. It is located within the complex of the medieval city that dates back to the 13th century. The fortress, constructed over several centuries, encircles the architectural remains of a mid-15th century castle.Located in the south-western side of the fortress is a portal with the royal coat of arms. This portal dates back to the time of Tvrtko II and King Stjepan Tomasevic, who moved the royal court to Jajce in 1421.
Enjoy lovely view of Pliva lakes...
The little windowless huts sit on top of skinny stilts right over the gushing water. Since the flow here is spread out, by using a series of little mills instead of one big water wheel, the diffuse water power could be aggregated. Pretty ingenious. Most of the huts go back to the period of the Austro-Hungarian empire (about 1867 to 1918), and they give the impression of a little storybook village.
At 17 meters in height, the Pliva waterfall is one of the most notable features of Jajce. This natural monument is located in the very centre of the town and has been named one of twelve most beautiful waterfalls in the world.
Built around 1400 AD for the aristocratic Hrvatni family, this two-level crypt is small and roughly hewn but artfully half-lit and notable for the boldly sculpted cross, sun and crescent moon motifs (downstairs), a rare surviving memorial to the independent Bosnian Church.

We discovered the city’s Travnik and Jajce together with our guide Vildan and driver Haris. It was an amazing day, we ate cevapcici which is a kind of meatball in the center in Travnik. Travnik also has a nice castle, the castle has a beautiful history which I had learned from our guide Vildan (and more of course). I am very happy with their service and I can recommend everyone to book a trip with them! And shout out to the best driver Haris as well! ^Hakan

Small group in a very comfortable van. Guide, Sedan, was very personable and knowledgeable. Made 5 or 6 stops with time to explore & appreciate the history & beauty.

Great tour with lots of historical knowledge. I went on a trip with Marko and Vildan and it was very pleasant and filled with lots of greats remarks and facts about Bosnia and the places we were visiting. The tour itself is not a very tiring one, and the knowledge of the guide definitely adds up to it.

We were a group of 3 adults and were joined with a couple from Spain and a lady from Egypt as well. We were picked from Sarajevo - city center in a comfortable van at around 8 am. We’ve visited most of Travnik’s and Jajci’s wonderful spots including the amazing waterfall and water mills. The we have been taken back to Sarajevo at around 7.20 pm. Despite being lengthy because of the traffic and slow roads, our guide, Amer, entertained us with his great knowledge and amazing insight about the region. I’ve personally learned a lot about B & H, it’s rich history, the current political system and the atrocity of war. I highly recommend this trip and I have to say that it does make a difference to have a guide who is local, well familiar of the visited cities and can speak English perfectly.
