Overview

Visit the largest, most bustling African township in South Africa. Soweto has an estimated population of five million people and is the former home of Nelson & Winnie Mandela, Desmond Tutu, Mahatma Ghandi and many other icons. You will be treated to a visit to Nelson Mandela's former home and the famous Vilakazi Street which is the only street in the world where two Nobel Peace Prize Winners lived. Desmond Tutu still resides in his house there when he is visiting Johannesburg. We will dine in a traditional African restaurant (at your own expense) where you will get to experience the tastes of Africa. The tour takes approximately 4 to 5 hours and is 20 mins drive from Johannesburg.
