Overview

The La Chorrera Adventure Park is located in the heart of the Eastern Mountain Range in the Department of Cundinamarca, only 30 kilometers (18 miles) east of Bogot D.C. just a 1.5-hour drive away. It's a perfect spot for hiking with numerous trails and is also home to Colombia's highest waterfall!
Choach is the charming nearby town from which you will enter the park. The fragrant and delicate countryside flora, its beautiful hills, such as the viewpoint of La Chorrera, where you can observe all the splendor of a 590 meter (2000 foot) cascade fall are all reasons you will love this tour.

I learned about Hansa tours through a booklet at the W Hotel Bogota. I was intrested in day tours around Bogota. The sign up process was very simple. I added the whatsup number of Hansa tour and told the customer representitive the tour and date I am intrested in. Later, I received a payment link that works with most major credit cards. Once the payment was processed, I was provided with a conformation as well as the name and contact information of the guide. My tour guide was Joel, he grew up in Bogota and was very familiar with the city and speak English well. The driver Edwin was very friendly and easygoing. I was given an overview of the plan on the day of the tour but I also had the oppertunity to modify the tours to focus on the areas that I was intrested in. For example, I picked a trail that was physically demanind instead of an easier trail and added zipline to the trip. Lunch was served at the park restaurant and the food was pretty delicous. My favorite part of the tour other than the beautiful scenery is the endless conversations I had with Joel about the country, the city and Colombian culture. I never would have learned so much in one day if I didn't meet Joel. In short, I was very happy with the tour and would definitely ask for Joel and Edwin at Hansa tours when I visit again in the future.

We had the experience if a lifetime visiting La Chorrera State Park with Oscar. He picked us up at our apartment in downtown Bogota and took us to the park entrance where we continued on foot. The day started out cloudy, but cleared off early and the views were breathtaking. I speak English with a small amount of Spanish, my girlfriend speaks Spanish. Oscar speaks both fluently, and gave us bits of info about the park history, the indigenous people that lived there, and was a pleasure to have show us around and guide us along the path. His manners were impeccable, he was friendly to all he encounters and makes the trip easier than it would have been alone by far. I recommend this gentleman to anyone wanting to experience this amazing area!

This tour was a wonderful escape from the city. The falls were beautiful with an incredible surrounding landscape. Linda our guide did an exceptional job explaining the landscape, making our experience fun and enjoyable with one another and assisting in creating a memory that won’t be forgotten.
