I was mildly impressed with this tour. Tour guide’s English wasn’t great and three of the places we went to were closed. One would think that would be checked before hand.

Marianne was wonderful! Spent a fun, relaxed, informative tour visiting different Lisbon neighborhoods and lots of yummy food and wine. Would recommend this tour!

We had such a blast hanging out with John. We ate. We laughed. We explored streets of Lisbon that we absolutely never would’ve found on our own. It felt like we were hanging out with a friend, and it was our best tour of our two-week vacation.

The guide expertly wove the various foods and locations with local history and retail shops to make a very interesting outing!

Definitely found areas we never would have if not for this tour.

Food choices were very good with generous portions. If you are looking for an excellent food tour this is the one to choose!

    Highly recommend!

Thoroughly enjoyed the Guide and his extensive knowledge of the food of Lisbon as well as his ability to circumvent crowds and walking shortcuts.

We booked this for the same day we flew into Lisbon. We were jet lagged but it was a great way to get introduced to the city's food. Helped us decide what we wanted to focus on and what we could check the box that we tried and move on. Mariana was able to give us histories of the food and the city that really added to the enjoyment of the tastings. This is absolutely a must do!

This was a private food tour with a local named Carolina. Carolina is a very personable and sincere guide. She was very patient with us, especially since my mom is a slow walker.
We enjoyed the food on our tour. I would suggest doing this tour on your first day in Lisbon because it is a good introduction to Portuguese food. We started at Bairro Alto and ended up in Alfama so brace yourself for a lot of walking. The hardest part was getting to the meeting point because it was at a high point (with a good view), then it was downhill walking afterwards (except when you get to Alfama when you have to climb up a long set of stairs). We went to 4 different restaurants plus a stop to try Ginja. Don't eat a large meal before this as you will be very full at the end.

Our tour guide Marianna was fantastic. We walked through different neighborhoods of Lisbon and experienced food tasting at small local taverns and cafes. The tour was fun and informative. Delicious and plenty to eat. Would highly recommend this!

Mariana was terrific and we really enjoyed the tour. The food was also very good and there was plenty of it.

My wife, our sons ages 11, 14 and 17, and I recently did this walking food tour in Lisbon. Our guide was Carolina, who we recommend highly! She was knowledgeable about the city’s history and took us to places where the locals go. Authentic and delicious traditional Portuguese food. We all absolutely loved it. She even made us dinner reservations for that evening, which was also an amazing meal, and arranged for a table with a spectacular sunset city view. Overall, we truly had an exceptional experience!
