After pickup in Delhi by private vehicle, your day trip begins with the approximate 4-hour drive to Agra, a historical city located on the Yamuna River. Your first stop is Taj Mahal, a World Heritage site and perhaps India’s most iconic landmark. Built in the mid-17th century, this white marble mausoleum was commissioned by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in dedication to his beloved wife Mumtaj Mahal. The construction is believed to have taken 21 years (1632-1653) with over 20,000 artisans working round the clock. Learn about the Turkish, Indian and Persian architectural styles as you admire the detailed interior and exterior décor, the beautiful garden and the general magnificence of the place with your guide.
Next, continue to your second World Heritage site and a Mughal architectural wonder, Agra Fort. With your private guide, enter the 94-acre (34-hectare) brick fort, noting the mix of Islamic and Hindu influences in its design. Hear about the purposes of the various buildings such as the Hall of Private Audience (Diwan-i-Khas), Pearl Fort (Moti Masjid), Mirror Palace (Sheesh Mahal) and Hall of Public Audience (Diwan-i-Am).
Afterward, proceed to enjoy a lunch of Indian dishes at the grand ITC Mughal, Agra. Taste the rustic flavors of North Indian cuisine served to you as it was to the Mughal royalty. Your day trip then ends with the return drive to Delhi. **Flexibility in the sequence of sightseeing of the monuments in Agra.

My collegues recommended me GeTS Holidays, specifically the certified tourist guide (Umesh Mall) and I have to recognize they were not wrong. All the tours in Agra were magnificents and Umesh is the main reason of this. His hard work, dedication and passion when guiding me and my friends was beyond this world. Visiting the Taj Mahal with him was a magical experience. Umesh was waiting us at the Agra Fort Train Station and took us to all the tourist places without any inconveniece and taking care of all the details. Ask for Umesh is you are looking for a 100% stress free vacation package!

Had a great time. You should really hire a guide when you visit these magical places. All will come to life and it will improve the experience. We were lucky with our friendly and professional guide Umesh Mall.

We only booked the tour just one day prior to the departure and thanks for Raj's help to arrange everything in time. The driver picked up at hotel in the morning and sent us back to hotel after the tour. All the staffs including the agent, driver and local guide are very friendly and professional. My wife and I really enjoyed the tour.

After a longish drive by our careful driver, Sunil (who seemed to be following all the traffic rules in spite of the craziness around him), we met our guide, Jugnu, in Agra. Jugnu was warm and funny and friendly. He was great about explaining the history of everything but then stepping back and just letting us wander around. He also took tons of pictures for us. In spite of the 39 or 40-degree weather, we had a marvelous time. We got lucky choosing this tour.
