Great guide and fabulous food. Yes, we paid extra for additional wine and yes one could simply visit the restaurants and save some money. For us, it was a great time and an excellent introduction to Rome.

The structure of the tour had us sitting by ourselves with out the guide to explain to food to us, sadly the main course in the restaurant was well below standard and no alternative was offered. It has been stated befor that you must be careful with the extras a s wine is not includeed and paying 15 Euros for coffee at the end of the tour was very expensive.

Turns out that our Viator tours were highly variable for our selections in Italy and Rome. Viator gives the booking to local guides--some are great and others much less so. Our guide for this tour was from the food industry and a Roman local. The 3 Michelin star restaurants we visited were top notch. Highly recommend this tour.

I travel to Italy at least once a year and as this time I traveled alone, I wanted to really treat myself. The food was just what you could expect from Michelin star chéfs - first class. What made it real special is that I got to know all about these chéfs plus the story behind every dish which made it truly unforgettable. And all this was without a second of waiting in line!
Valeria surprised me with her knowledge and fabulous stories about the city as we walked from one restaurant to another. She's fluent in French, which was a first time for me to have a tour in Rome in my own language.
I felt like a real local after this tour. Merci beaucoup, Valeria for an amazing experience! I will definitely come back for this tour again and bring my mother with me too! -

For the price paid, the food tour is disappointing.
Should not do a food tour without drinks.
We had to pay for expensive prosceco , wines, and even coffee with our desert, which
is quite ordinary. -
