Know More about this tour

Your private guide will pick you up at your hotel in Kuala Lumpur and take you by private vehicle to Putrajaya, an approximate 45-minute drive from the city.

Putrajaya, named in homage to Malaysia's first prime minister, Tunku Abdul Rahman Putra, is also referred to as the Intelligent Garden City. Putrajaya houses Malaysias government administrative center amid lush greenery and botanical gardens sprinkled across the vast landscape. Five confluences meet here to form the main waterway, Putrajaya Lake, which flows at the heart of the city amid a human-made Wetland Park.

When you arrive, watch boats float past on Putrajaya Lake toward Putra bridge, a three-tiered concrete bridge with observation decks on four minaret-type piers. Your guide will take you to visit Taman Warisan Pertanian Agricultural Park, a living arboretum for homegrown fruits and crops such as mango, durian, jackfruits, natural rubber and oil palm.

View Putrajayas impressive monuments such as the pink-domed Putra Mosque, constructed of rose granite, whose basement wall resembles the King Hassan Mosque in Casablanca. The mosques elegant prayer hall, supported by 12 columns, reaches a height of 250 feet (76 meters) and its minaret is one of the tallest in the region. View the Sahn, or courtyard, whose landscape boasts several water features and colonnades.

Glimpse Perdana Putra, the Prime Ministers office, which is often referred to as the White House of Malaysia. Situated on the main hill, the Prime Ministers Department Complex houses several Malaysia government buildings and agencies. Your guide will point out how the iconic structures, topped by a green dome, were built with Malay, Islamic and European architectural influences in mind.

Finally, youll pass by the Sepang Formula 1 Race Circuit, considered one of the best in the world! Your tour ends with drop-off at your hotel or optional drop-off at the airport. (Since Putrajaya is located en route to the airport, this tour is ideal for those catching an evening flight.)

Guide kept complaining about how he had to take me around.
Was not happy about servicing me.

Travel agency said they will stop by some mosques/palace I requested to see. Guide did not want to do that.

But Putrajaya is an amazing area in Malaysia. Must see.

This trip to Putrajaya the government town was really interesting. We had no idea this place even existed back in Australia. Our tour kind Salven was very knowledgeable, friendly and showed us everything. Can't complain about anything. Fantastic tour

This was a excellent tour! My guide sorry, but I cant remember his name! was incredibly knowledgeable about the region and different cultural and social issues surrounding this modern city. I really enjoyed the modern Islamic architecture of the buildings, and it is a nice break from the hustle and bustle of KL city. The PMs office and mosque are just gorgeous!

Due to the national holiday long weekend, we were unable to get in a number of places. This should be known beforehand and informed us earlier. Tour guide is helpful. The trip was good. The scenery is very nice.

Pick up time was 10 minutes early. Our guide/driver Henry is a very solicitous person as well as knowledgeable of the history of Malaysia, the recent development of Putrajaya and all its government offices. He allowed us to take pictures in places where he knew it will interest us. He even went to the extent of asking the mosques caretakers and guards if we can take some pictures of the inner sanctum of the mosques before the prayer starts. Putrajaya is not yet a tourist spot but it became an enjoyable afternoon with Henry's guidance by showing us the best spots to see the places in a different level.

Worth seeing. Driver was friendly and knew quite a lot about the new city. There were very few tourists which was surprising, so we got around quickly and managed to get photos without tons of people blocking the views.
