  The entire experience was fabulous! Manny was an excellent driver and so informative! He was patient with our group and all of his suggestions were amazing! Wine tasting was wonderful and so were all the amazing sites!

  Fantastic day. Skip Siena and go straight to San Gimigiano. Beautiful medieval town. You need time to get a glass of wine and look out at the countryside. Wine tasting at Torciano with Leonardo was amazing. Get ready 9 full glasses of great wine. Finally ask for Manny as your guide, really nice and knowledgeable. 5 stars!

  Luca made this the most enjoyable trip I've ever taken. From the start he educated us about Rome and Italy with great passion and expertise. He and his associate Johnnie (Giovanni) were kind and wonderful guides on our Italian adventure. They made us feel welcome and made certain that we had everything we could possibly need. We will definitely be back to see more of Italy, and will absolutely do so with Luca! Ciao!

  Luca made the trip very smooth. Had plenty of time to enjoy the stunning Tuscany area. Everyone at the winery made you feel like family. This is how you want to experience Tuscany!!

  What an amazing first trip to Italy. This is the only way to see Rome and Tuscany. I'm very impressed by the "service" and constant communication before, during and after my trip especially when I missed my connecting flight to Rome and then delayed luggage. Luca kept tabs on me and even helped me call ALITALIA the next day about my bag. The wealth of knowledge that Luca, Johnny, and Max provided our group was amazing. They got us front of the line tickets to popular attractions, arranged for the most awesome guide to tour the Vatican Museum and Vatican, showed us the most famous sites in Rome and drove us door to door each day. In Tuscany we visited some well known towns and some smaller towns that were full of history. They arranged private wine tastings, private dinners, and even a private spa experience for our group. Luca even made sure we were able to get our covid tests in a timely manner for our trip home. First class service from a first class operation. I can't wait to return to Italy and have Rome Private Excursions and Luca provide an amazing experience. Grazie!

  We really enjoyed our tour guides Giovanni (Johnny), Max and Luca. So much so that we wanted them to be on our trip with us versus our guides. They were knowledgeable, professional and always on time. Their vans were clean and comfortable - and most importantly, had cold AC. It’s a must during a Roman summer. If you want an easy ride with historical details, ask for Johnny. If you’re on a religious tour, Max is a plethora of information. Luca is a linguist that knows 6 languages. He’ll help you grow your Italian.

  Fabulous tour! There on a FAM to scout hotels & tours for clients, RPE and Luca provided fantastic service, gorgeous accommodations, and fabulous experiences! They went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of. Top notch, first rate experience and I would highly recommend using their services!

  We did two tours with Rome Private Excursions. The first was the trip to wine country for a private wine tasting with the wine maker himself. Wow...I will never forget the experience. I was with my wife and 2 grown children, we all had a great time that day. Luca and his driver were very knowledgeable about everything the towns we stopped in as well as the castles we passed. It would not have been the same without having the private tour guide, well worth the money. We also did a private tour of the sites of Rome, too many to mention, This tour was custom to us, they called us the day before asked were we wanted to go and instead we told him where we had been and they designed the day around places we should see, rather than an out of the box tour. I can't recommend Luca and team at Rome Private Excursions any higher.

  I was on a cruise and did 3 tours with Private tours and loved them all. From Civitavecchia, we did Rome and a private tour of the Vatican. From Livorno, we did Volterra and San Gimignano and from Sorrento, we did the Amalfi Coast. All of the drivers were exceptional drivers - I would highly recommend hiring a car/driver in Italy as the traffic laws are not well advertised and you run the risk of getting a ticket in the mail after your vacation if you drive yourself. I had originally only booked 2 tours (Rome and Livorno) but enjoyed them so much that I added the Sorrento tour at the last minute. If I came back I would absolutely use them again.

  We did 3 trips with Rome Private. We did rome->pompeii->Sorrento, siena and san gimignano, and rome by car They were perfect. On time, knowledgeable, great with kids, and full of energy. They listened when we described the structure of the day and made it all work. We had bad traffic coming north from Pompeii due to an accident ahead of us - our driver was patient, funny, and kept my 11 yr olds and 13 yr old entertained. Rome Private Excursions helped make this a wonderful trip. They listened when we wanted to change the itinerary and made it work. We would use them every time.
