We really enjoyed this trip - learned a bit about life on a working sheep station, laughed a lot and enjoyed some lovely food. Our guide Jen taught us loads about life in Australia while driving to Tobruk Station and made us feel very welcome on our first day in the country. Tobruk owner Rod kept everyone smiling throughout, taught us to crack a whip and throw a boomerang and gave an informative demonstration about working with and training kelpie sheep dogs. We also enjoyed the damper and billy tea and the delicious barbecue lunch (which was kindly modified to suit the vegetarians among us.) This is definitely a highlight of our time in Sydney.

Essy our guide was great. She made sure we has the best seats and the first meals of everyone and after we left the sheep station she took us on and extra little tour and off to shopping. We went to several sheep venues on our 33 day trip and this was hands down the best. They explained every detail about wool and the handling of sheep, including a great herding demo and shearing. All animals were treated with kindness and respect. Lunch was great and time was spent with anyone interested in learning to crack a whip or throw a boomerang. We truly enjoyed the day.
