The National archaeological museum of florence in the Palazzo della Crocetta was built by Julius Paris as the residence of Princess Maria Maddalena de 'Medici. Nowadays keeping important collections and historic item, for examplesome masterpieces of funerary sculptures. Those were made of stone, the large bronze statue of Chimera, Arringatore and Minerva and Roman medallions.

The museum keeps items from excavations in all of Tuscany.
