Before your tour, your private guide will contact you to discuss what you want to do and see on your half-day tour. Agree your itinerary or leave it open for your guide to lead the way. All entrance fees, food and drinks during your tour are at your own expense.
On the day, meet your guide at your Barcelona hotel, hop inside your air-conditioned vehicle and drive to the first stop. As you travel, hear fascinating tales about Barcelonas history and architecture and some of the famous figures who have shaped the citys past and present.
Perhaps start at Barcelonas most iconic sight: La Sagrada familia. This surreal-looking cathedral was designed by the late, great Catalan architect Antoni Gaudi. Marvel at the famously unfinished masterpiece and hear how its construction, begun in 1882, isnt due to be completed until 2026.
You may want to check out more of Gaudis mind-bending creations at Park Gell, with its playful ceramic sculptures and terraces. Or visit the stunning Casa Batll or La Pedrera, otherwise known as the Casa Mil; two of his eye-popping decorative mansions on the Passeig de Gracia avenue.
Alternatively, focus on the older side of Barcelona. Drive to the atmospheric Gothic quarter (Barri Gtic), and stroll around the cobbled lanes to admire its Roman relics, medieval squares and 14th-century Barcelona cathedral (Catedral La Seu). Continue to La Ramblas, the citys colorful main shopping avenue with its tapas bars, street entertainers and flower markets.
If time allows, perhaps finish at Montjuic Hill, home to many of Barcelonas 1992 Olympic arenas. Snap photos of the stadiums and soak up the awesome birds-eye views of the city from the summit.
After your explorations, your private tour ends with a drop-off at your hotel.

Miquel was a wealth of knowledge to show us all around Barcelona. Not knowing what to be sure to see, he provided the guidance and historical perspective for us. Always open for questions.

We had the bets time on this tour. Miquel is very knowledgeable and was just an all around great person to spend the day with. We are excited to see more of the city tomorrow.
-
Guide was VERY knowledgeable, but tried to cram in everything, leaving little time for feedback and questions. A few persons in our group had a hard time understanding her English.

We had a great half-day tour with Sonia. Cannot say enough good things about it. Sonia is very knowledgeable and very attuned to the needs and wants of her clients. She showed us The most important sights and gave us all needed info for future visits. We highly recommend this tour with Sonia

We had the morning available for touring before boarding our cruise ship, and wanted to get a sense of the city. Our guide, Sonia Viver, arrived at our hotel in La Rambla 15 minutes early, having checked the evening before to confirm that we had arrived. The driver arrived in spotless, air conditioned Mercedes right on time. We conferred for a few minutes about what we wanted to see, and off we went. We the Gaudi residential properties, the Olympic facilities, a fabulous view of the city from the mountai, the Plaza de Rei and the Jewish quarter, and the Mercado Boqueria that i wanted to spend real time browsing. We hit everything on our list, and Sonia's commentary brought everything to life. Wonderful 4 hrs of touring, conveniently and comfortably. Ask for Sonia.

The guide took us to the places where we desired to go, and the driver took the best route not to waste any time. Excellent experience!!

Sonia is a superstar. So knowledgeable and pleasant. We started at the Sagrada Familia. Sonia and Johan (the driver and also very nice) took us there at the start of the tour and we were able to buy tickets and enter the basilica. Amazing!. We then went to Park Guell which is another remarkably unique experience. We then went to Rambla Catalunia and visited Casa Mila, Casa Battlo and the Amatller Shop. The entire time Sonia was educating us about the area. Johan chatted with us about Barcelonan life as well. I just cannot express my thanks to both of them for a such a wonderful experience. To top it off, they drove us to the beach and recommended a great Paella restaurant right on the water. I would do this tour again, no questions asked!

We had a Spanish woman. Her name was Frances in English. She was so precious and knowledgeable about her town and took us to great spots. My teenage kids fell in love with her. The driver was also awesome. Highly recommend!
