Know More about this tour

Your private tour begins with pickup from your Sydney hotel by luxuryvehicle. Heading west from Sydney towards Blue Mountains National Park, your first stop is Featherdale Wildlife Park. Arrive before regular park entry opens, giving you the rare opportunity toobserve native Australian animals. Try hand-feeding a kangaroo, pet a koala, and meet emus and wombats.

Leaving the everyday tourist routes behind, your private tour continues into the northern section of Blue Mountains National Park, a natural wonderland of sandstone outcrops, deep ravines and hazy blue eucalypt forests. Your guide will take you off the beaten track to visit remote lookout locations and share the history, flora and fauna of this magnificent region.

Youll stop for morning tea and homemade apple pie at Bilpin, visit Govetts Leap where the Bridal Veil Falls tumble over the sandstone cliffs, and take several short walks to enjoy the stunning views over the Blue Mountains valleys.

Next, depending on your selection, stop for lunch in Katoomba at either Echoes Restaurant or the Boiler House Cafe (see the itinerary section below for more info). Enjoy a delicious meal and take in more of those Blue Mountains views.

You also have the option of heading to other lookouts to take in more Blue Mountains views. From there you can enjoy uninterrupted views of the Three Sisters rock formations and take a walk through the rainforest. Then relax on the return trip to Sydney, arriving back at your hotel at around 4:30pm.

  • Absolutely a fantastic trip. This was a private tour, with a initial stop at Featherdale Wildlife Park before the bused crowds appeared. Out guide and driver, Lindsay, was knowledgeable and entertaining throughout the trip. He made two off roads stops for spectacular views, again without large numbers of people as the tour buses could not go there. Our lunch was at a very refined restaurant set on the cliffs of the gorge. Although it was a bit pricey, my wife and I felt the Blue Mountains trip was the highlight of our 25 day Australian adventure.

  • Justin was a great tour guide. The Blue Mountains were beautiful and Justin made sure that we were able to see them from many vantage points. The food at Echos was perfect and the view from our table was amazing. We even made an extra stop at a cultural center to see an educational show and learn some of the history of aboriginals. Featherdale Wildlife Park was a really nice stop. Seeing all of the different animals and having some time with a koala bear was nice too. The enclosures were not overly enclosed, so the animals were very visible and some were completely free roaming. The stop for morning tea at the Botanical Gardens was at a beautiful locations and the walking paths through the different plants were beautiful.

  • Paul tour guide was great. Ferndale WIldlife Park was excellent - close to animals - hand fed kangaroos - posed for picture with koala. Tour was not exactly as described, but differences were fine. Blue Mountain stops were good, most picturesque spots.

  • It was a great trip! Also our driver was super!

  • It is new experience with enjoyable rides in cable cars and the dteep train
