Know More about this tour
Cairo's famous Egyptian Museum houses 165,000 Egyptian artifacts, but the priceless treasures of King Tutankhamun are the highlight. His six gilded coffins dominate the main hall, while his magnificent death mask is the star attraction.
Continuing to Khan el Khalili bazaar, you'll enjoy free time to stroll through the maze of streets and bargain for a souvenir of your trip. You will also have the chance to visit a Papyrus Institute to see how the famous artwork is made before flying back to Sharm el Sheikh.
Please note: Due to demonstrations currently taking place in Egypt, some tours may be slightly impacted. This is not expected, but in such cases, alternative attractions may be visited for our customers' safety. On time pick up from hotel, flight was good and person was waiting to collect us. Guide arranged camel ride from pyramids to sphinx which was awesome but expensive. Traffic was bad in Cairo because of soccer game so didn't get to bazaar. Lunch was nice but not incredible. Tried to get guide to arrange a falucca boat ride on Nile instead of bazaar but didn't happen.

An excellent trip and would highly recommend. It was well worth paying the extra for a quick 40 minute flight. A very smooth service was provided, picking you up directly from the hotel door, and meeting us at Cairo airport. With our own English speaking guide for the 3 of us it made it much more personal and tailored to what we did and didn't want to see or learn. The 4 course lunch provided was lovely, looking out on the Nile. Make sure you take change for tips.

We set off very early in the morning - a lot earlier than I understood it to be when I booked it. As a consequence we got to Cairo quite early, saw the sights, had lunch and then started to run out of things to do. A later start or an earlier flight back would have been better. The flight was well worth the cost compared to a coach trip. The guide was very good and very accommodating and the trip was very well planned and slick. I felt like a VIP. Cairo is a bit of a dump sorry but a great cultural experience. We had lunch on the Nile too - all part of the trip. It was great to see the sights - I just wish people would stop trying to take money off you all the time. Take plenty of small notes, go inside the Grand Pyramid, and don't be afraid to let the guide know what you are and are not interested in. Also, take the time to get a better understanding of Islam...very interesting. Please go. Take no notice of my rating...I just can't honestly say I absolutely loved it!!

Excellent trip, had so many stories to bring home from such a short trip. Our guide was a mind of information, he looked after us really well and always had a comical moment to share.
