Know More about this tour

Absorb true rainbow nation energy at Hout bay with colourful fishing boats ankered in a lively harbor. Browse traditional craft markets for souvenirs, chill on the beach or embark on an optional Duiker island Cruise (at own expense) toward an Island, home to thousands of Cape fur seals. Encounter uninterrupted views from the upper deck and examine underwater sea life and kelp forests through the glass viewing ports at the bottom of the boat.

Follow the winding Chapmans peak Drive that cuts into the mountain as it wraps around the Peninsula. Be ready for awe-inspiring views along the coastline on one of the most dramatic drives in the world to reach Cape point.

Observe wildlife roaming free among the Capes fynbos landscape in the Cape of good hope Nature Reserve. Wander along stone paths toward the historic Lighthouse on top of Cape point - the spot where wild Atlantic waves crash into the tip of Africas most southwestern point.

Stroll alongside African penguins on the wooden boardwalk at Boulders beach. Penguins in their nests can usually be seen without entering the reserve, however you can pay a small fee to see them wandering freely on the protected beach.

Travel back via the Muizenberg beach route to reach Cape town by early evening.

Guide was excellent. Great knowledge. We enjoyed everything except the Penguin tour which was a rip off.

We booked this tour as our first full day in Cape Town and couldn't have been more satisfied. Our tour guide, Liezel, picked us up right from our Airbnb right at the scheduled time. It was me, my husband, and our 1.5 year old son. She was very patient with us throughout the day as the baby controlled a little of what we did. She pointed out interesting sites and facts as we departed Cape Town. Our first stop was the optional boat cruise to seal island. Liezel wasted no time jumping in to help with our son, playing with him and holding him while we got cash from the ATM. After the tour, we had a sit down breakfast and she ran around and played with him to allow us a few minutes to eat. If you have a young child, you know how VALUABLE that is. She even got him a toy rubber ball from a nearby machine... which he proceeded to play with the entire rest of the day. After breakfast, we continued our journey. Along the way we saw baboons along the road and she stopped to allow us to take photos and take in their cute behaviors. We made a quick stop for snacks at a cute farm house which was delightful. We continued to Cape Point. Upon arrival our son had fallen asleep, and Liezel generously offered to stay in the bus with him while we took the funicular up the point. He woke up shortly after and she ran him right up to us in the nik of time! The point was absolutely stunning and the funicular was well worth the extra ZAR. We then took a short drive down to Cape of Good Hope for the famous photo in front of the sign signifying the most SW tip of the African continent. Next stop was the penguins, and Liezel escorted us through the boardwalk. When we found a cute restaurant with a great balcony that we wanted to stop and grab a drink at, she offered to bring the bus around so we didn't have to walk back. Seeing the penguins was a highlight of the day, especially seeing our son react to them. The entire coast and drive was absolutely stunning. Liezel was a very safe driver and made sure we kept on schedule but flexible enough to not feel rushed at all. Throughout the day we had excellent conversation and learned a lot about the culture. We had an absolutely wonderful time on this day trip and can't speak enough praises for Liezel. We had an important errand to run at the end of the day, and she offered to drop one of us off so we could make it in time, and then returned me and the baby right back to our apartment. She even helped us get baby back to our door. A+++

We had the most incredible time on this tour. We were picked up at our private residence right on time. Kevin was so knowledgeable about the area and knew the best places to eat. Even recommended a breakfast place for the next day after our hike up Lion's Head. If you have the chance to request a tour guide, ask for Kevin!!
