Our guide Daniel Treibert was excellent, his knowledge of the Roman history was outstanding. Having a private tour made it convenient for my slow pace and need to take frequent rest stops. I would highly recommend taking a private tour.

I booked this private tour for the three of us to avoid dealing with group issues and go at our own pace and preferences. I also did not want to spend time in long lines. The tour met these expectations. The guide had a PhD in archeology. She was very knowledgeable about everything we saw. We learned more than we expected. She answered all our questions and tailored the tour based on our feedback. At the end of the tour, we got rained on, and I'm not talking about the rain we have in California, real rain. Umbrella were useless. Everyone was so wet, it was laughable. Fortunately, the temperature in Rome was quite hot, so it was refreshing in a way.
I would highly recommend this tour. -
We are so happy that we chose to have a guide for this tour. Eva knew just about everything anyone would want to know about these sites. Her enthusiasm was contagious, and we were transported back to a time when emperors walked the same paths. Nothing prepared us for the sheer scale of the buildings, or the ingenuity that created them. Eva brought them all to life, and answered every question we could think of, before we had a chance to ask. We were glad of it, as we were all a little tongue-tied just looking at the structures. The only disappointment was the too few hours we could spare. That's okay, we'll be back again!

Booked a Private tour of Colosseum. We had a recent death in the family and this was an emotional trip for my wife, Mother in Law and Son. My mother in law has mobility issues so One in Rome: suggested a Van as well to get us around quicker and more comfortably. My son is a history major and we had asked for a Guide that would want to hear all his questions and not want to run away. The Tour was excellent. The guide Eva sp or Ava could not have been better. She was very knowledgeable, passionate on all that they saw and supper supportive of my mother in laws mobility issues and my sons interest in History. My wife reports she had a great personality, disposition and was very very helpful with the Van driver who also was excellent and the itnarey. She knew everybody and everybody knew her. She got the van to drop my mother right on the footsteps of the Pantheon, took them to a hidden secret spot , a super gelato break, and other little extras. She went over in time and gave my son plenty to digest. She even took photos for them including some she has on her phone that she needs to email us when she gets around to it don't forget Eva Ha Ha. This was an excellent tour made all the better by an attentive driver and private guide. Highly recommend private tour especially if you have somebody in your party who cannot walk or wants more personal history. - Great job Eva et al.

Despite heavy rains, Francesca did a great job. We learned so much of the structure, operation, and behaviors of the Roman lifestyles with the Colosseum and Palatine Hill. It was worth traipsing around in the rain. Her English was very good and her knowledge of the subject matter was wonderful. Do it!

Good knowledge and showed us the whole picture of what we toured

An absolutely fantastic tour with our guide Elena who's knowledge of history and archeology amplified the benefit. This is a perfect way to cover three major tourist sites without feeling run over by the crowds.
