  • This tour was amazing! Our tour guide was great. I would definitely do this again!

  • My husband and I started out trip to Paris with this wonderful full-day walking tour with the lovely Marie. I highly recommend doing this at the start of your trip if you can - it is a great way to learn the city before being on your own. Communication prior to the trip was great via email and the company put together a great itinerary of what we should see based on our preferences, time in Paris, activity level, and reservations we had for later in our trip. Marie as a guide was just fabulous! She gave us a massive tour and we saw everything we wanted to. It was great because it helped us get our bearings in the city so that we knew where we wanted to go back to on our own and Marie gave us the history and context to go along with it all. We walked through a number of areas in the city Place Vendome, Opera House, Les Halles, Place de le Concorde, Tuileries Jardin, Ile de la Cite, Saint Germain Du Pres, Univesite, Pantheon, saw lots of covered passageways as I especially wanted to see those, experienced Notre Dame with Marie's wonderful commentary, and wandered the grounds of the Louvre and the gardens of the Royal Palace. She even showed us how to work the metro system just in case we ever needed to use it!. The company had even booked Musee D'orsay tickets for us just in case we ended up there at the end of the day! I loved that Marie was flexible to change the plan for the day as the tour progressed, based on what we were enjoying the most. She also pointed out and recommended places we should go to after our tour and advised us of places to avoid or skip. I have to add that we did follow her recommendations later in the week and were very happy we did! I wish we could have taken her with us for the rest of our trip to Paris as I truly appreciated her sharing love for her Parisian home! We covered a LOT of ground on our tour because we are able and fit walkers, but a word to the wise - wear VERY comfortable walking shoes as you walk for hours - and if you aren't capable of walking for long periods or distances, don't expect to see everything we did. We were very happy and excited to do this extensive tour, but Marie says she also works with those who want more breaks and who like to go at a slower pace. So, they have a little something for everyone! Would highly recommend working with this tour company. From two very pleased tourists :

  • We had a relatively large group 7 consisting of elderly in age down to a second grader. Our informative guide Luc made sure everybody felt included in the tour and was at all times conscious of the physical limitations of my older family members. Partially because we were only in Paris for the day, travelling there on an early flight from London and having to return that same evening, we did not have a lot of time to explore the city. Tour organizers very helpfully instructed us on the proper train to take from Charles de Gaulle airport into the city, and the commute was effortless. Luc met us as planned and tailored a perfect walking tour of Notre Dame cathedral and the surrounding neighborhoods.

Perhaps most memorable for me was the lunch Luc arranged. He took us to a place that prepared a duck confit, which he also recommended, that was easily the best meal I had during the 10 days I was in London, Paris, and Dublin. It is also turned out to be perhaps one of the best meals I have ever had anywhere.

I would highly recommend this tour whether you plan to be in the city for days or hours as we were.

  • Astrid was amazing!!! Made my whole family and myself really fall in love with Paris. Her knowledge was endless, she was such a joy to be around and was able to adapt and customize our experience on the fly as she got to know us and our interests. I cannot recommend her or this tour highly enough. I have traveled extensively, and this was one of my favorite experiences.

  • Our tour guide Alex was fantastic. He met us at the hotel at 930 and showed us everything we wanted to see. He gave us the insider tour of Paris and also recommendations for the rest of our stay.

  • We had very charming guide that made the day fun and interesting for both my 15 and 12 year old. He even bought them some macarons at his favorite shop : As it was our first time in Paris, he took us to places that we would not have known about or would have taken weeks to read and research if I even knew what to look for. We had planned other activities on other days and I did fwd the itinerary to the company so that we would not cover the same areas and that worked out fabulously. There was a lot of walking but it was at our own pace and we were able to linger when and where we pleased. We rode the metro and bus and had a great lunch at a bistro that he recommended. It was a great way to start our week in Paris with an overview of the beautiful city, I highly recommend!

  • My wife and I truly enjoyed this tour, especially since we only had two days in Paris. Astrid was our personal guide and was outgoing, upbeat and very knowledgeable. We saw just about everything we wished to and at an unhurried pace. It was a full day for all of us. We would definitely recommend this tour and if you're lucky, to have Astrid guide. She saw us through town and revealed some memorable hidden gems here and there.

  • What a wonderful day we had with Astrid. She covered everything we asked for and she was very well informed. She could tell when we got a little tired, so she switched it up a little for us. I was traveling with my two daughters, and each of us enjoyed our day. We loved the little nuances of history that she threw at us. The wonderful small cafe for lunch was a big hit, but not as much as the ice cream. Highly recommend this trip.

  • Alex was excellent! He showed us everything we wanted to see and was able to get a full day of site seeing and knowledge for us! To see everything would take months, if not years but we got a great 'taste' of everything a first timer would want to see. From the Arc de Triomphe to the Louvre to the Sainte Chapelle to the Pantheon....Through the different districts to see the Medieval parts of Paris to the WW1 and WW2 areas in Paris..History from 507 a.d. through the present, Alex showed and told us about history, museums, culture and life in Paris.
