Located in Hanoi's Old Quarter area, Ma May Street is unique as it is home to many of the city’s oldest houses. The house at No.87 Ma May Street (Hoan Kiem District) is one of 14 ancient houses in Hanoi built in the late 19th century that still retains its original features and becomes a familiar address for those who want to learn about the daily life of Hanoians in the old time.
In the tradition of Lenin, Stalin and Mao, Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum is a monumental marble edifice. Contrary to his desire for a simple cremation, the mausoleum was constructed from materials gathered from all over Vietnam between 1973 and 1975. We will pass by the Mausoleum, stop for 10 minutes to take photos and listen to the heroic history of Ho Chi Minh President.
Tran Quoc Pagoda is more than 1500 years old, which means the place holds such an important role in the development of Vietnam in general and Hanoi in particular. That is the main reason why the temple attracts thousands of visitors from all over the world every year.
Located in the center of the capital of Vietnam, well-known as one of the most inhumane prisons with terrified punishment, Hoa Lo Prison, aka Maison Centrale, is a symbol of strong will of prisoners and their sacrifice for their communist ideals.
Hanoi train street used to be one of the most renowned tourist destinations in the capital. It is a tiny, winding street tucked away in one of Hanoi’s back streets, surrounded by tightly clustered, tall, narrow houses. The train travels by the backyards of these families a couple times each day. We will enjoy a cup of coffee while waiting for the train to pass by.

This was perfect day with our tour guide and driver. We get at lot of interesting information and perfect lovely service throughout the day. We walked to Pagoda by feet (don't underestimate the crazy stairs). Downwards have we choosen the cable car 😅. Thank you very much for this wonderful experience 🙏

Our guide FiFi is a friendly and knowledgeable guide. We have elderly parents with us and she patiently arrange it such that we have ample rest places for them. The pagodas are beautiful and she explain in great detail all the history behind them. She even taught us how to take photogenic shots in the pagoda. Highly recommended!

Our guide Andy did an amazing job. The weather was quite challenging (windy and wet) and Andy took the time to ensure the entire group was safe and comfortable.

It was a great one day trip to Perfume Pagoda! It takes only 1 hour 30 minutes to the entrance from Hanoi Old Quarters. The admin staff, Ms Trang is very helpful with the confirmation of package tour! Apart from the trip, she also helped us to navigate around Old Quarters such as recommending us a supermarket. The tour guide, Guang is fluent in english and also talented with beatboxing! He kept us entertained while on the bus ride to Perfume Pagoda. Thank you to the two of them!

I booked through Klook.com, which is a great resource for so many things when travelling. I was picked up in a nice van at my hotel, and after picking up 3 more people, we headed out of Hanoi towards Perfume Pagoda. The tour guide was very good and explained everything along the way. The drive is 2 hours to get there with a short rest stop half way. The drive back can be longer due to traffic, with the same rest stop half way. Check the weather to see what to wear, bring sunglasses, bug spray, sun screen. You will take a small rowboat that takes one hour to get to the area. Its a pretty ride, but not comfortable sitting on a metal bench for an hour. You then get a decent lunch with fish, chicken, pork, eggs, rice, fruit. After that, you take a cable car for 100,000 VND up the mountain to the Pagoda. You can then walk back down or take the cable car again. We went in the off season, so it was very quiet and most of the vendors were closed and making preparations for the busy season which is February/March.
