This UNESCO site is nice to visit with many histories and sightseeing. View is good too. We managed to know quite a lot of stories about the palace and the temples that we visited. Our tour guide is very knowledgeable about the places and able to tell us quite in-depth about the history that took place many years ago. Her explanation made us understand a lot about the King, Queen and the war that took place many centuries ago. She is also kind enough to take photos for us and also bought us joss sticks for praying. She also waited for us while we spent some time roaming around. She also introduced to us the local dessert Roti Sai Mai of Ayutthaya and bought us a packet to have a try on it. It was very nice and we will always remember this unique dessert. Overall, the tour was indeed a remarkable one for us.

We had a great private tour visiting the Bang Pa-In Royal Palace and 5 temples in Ayutthaya. Each was unique and equally interesting. We were picked up at our Bangkok hotel, taken to a lovely and delicious riverside hotel for lunch, and were back to the hotel by 5 pm. Our tour guide Miss Bejamas or "Puk" was very knowledgable, and her discussions of Thai history, politics, and religions added greatly to our understanding and enjoyment. Our driver was excellent as well. Being able to retreat to the air-conditioned car with cold water was wonderful in between the sunny, hot temple visits.

The guide was very friendly and knowledgeable of the site visited. We thought the tour would be in a small group with other tourists, but we were pleasantly surprised that it's a private tour

Super interesting. We had a great tour guide. Pa. Super HOT day! Take a hat and drink lots of water. Started with phu khow thong pagoda. Hot climb up but worth the view. Then 3 pagodas. 8, 9, &10. Super interesting. Great photos. That was Wat prasrisanphet. Also saw Buddha images at wat Mahathat. Face in a tree. Then a huge gold Buddha at Ming Kon Bophit. No photos here and be sure to if you are female be prepared to have your knees and shoulders covered in respect. Buffet lunch was provided at a small local (hot) restaurant. Buy your own beverage. I couldn’t resist a tall cold coke which I NEVER drink at home. I can’t describe the heat! Be prepared but the history and ruins are incredible! Van was air conditioned!!! Phew!

This was a fantastic tour option, it was worth the extra money. We opted out of visiting the Grand Palace to visit the ancient city of Ayutthaya. I definitely recommend doing this tour instead of the Grand Palace if you only have time for one. Our driver and our tour guide, Mrs. Aey were amazing! They were completely attentive, full of knowledge and very polite. We visited probably around 5-6 temples with numerous structures and things to see. Water was provided throughout the trip and we had a nice buffet lunch. Mrs. Aey even volunteered to take photos of us. The vehicle we toured in was very clean and new, and the drive was not bumpy and very comfortable.
