Free time to visit Villa Balbianello on your own. The location on the banks of the lake is so beauitful that the villa has been used as filming location for Star Wars (Episode 2) and 007 Casino Royale. Please note that the villa is closed on Monday and Wednesday. When closed, you may visit another beautiful villa on the lake, Villa Carlotta or Villa Melzi.
When Villa Balbianello is closed, you may visit Villa Carlotta (or Villa Melzi), another beautiful villa on the waterfront, surrounded by lush botanical gardens.

After the visit to the villa, together with your driver, you will take the ferry-boat to Bellagio. The 20-minute crossing is very nice and will let you see the beautiful scenery from the water (your driver will take care of the schedule and buy the tickets that are included in the price of the tour). If you wish, instead of taking the public ferry, you may choose to have a private boat tour with a private skipper. The duration of the private boat tour will be one hour and will allow you to see some of the nicest spots on the lake. The private boat tour is optional at additional cost (you may choose this option when booking the tour).
You will finally reach the lovely town of Bellagio. Here you will have free time to explore on your own and have lunch (please note that the price of lunch is not included in the price but we will be happy to give you some restaurant suggestions)
After Bellagio you will meet again your driver and he will take you back to your hotel/apartment in Milan

What an amazing day! Our family had a great time as an excursion from Milan to see Bellagio and take a 2hr private tour around that area of lake Como. We followed that with a delicious lunch and pictures at the Punta Spartivento in Bellagio, and some light shopping. That was followed by the most amazing hilltop panoramic picture spot at Parco Bellavista, in Civenna. It is definitely just a taste of Lake Como, but it was the perfect excursion for us while staying in Milan. The team was a delight to work with, and our driver was the best, door to door service with care at its finest.

My family of 4 booked a full day private tour to Lake Como with 1 hour boat, we extended 2 extra hours, They also assist in arranging the entry tickets to Villa Balbianello and Villa Monastero. If we can give 6 stars we would. It was perfect in every way. The tour was well organised, the driver was very kind and accommodating, and the lake was also perfect too... This is a so so experience, the driver was good and the car was a luxury car, but that’s it. They advertise 3 activities but when we got there the driver told us that we had to choose only two because we had no time, it was ether going to the Bellagio town or going to the Villa where the scenes of Star Wars two were filmed. Since we did the boat ride first. Although we paid for three activities, the boat ride, Villa (were Star Wars 2 was filmed) and the town of Bellagio, we had to skip one due to not enough “time” You guys should not offer all three if in reality it is only two: as of the city of Bellagio itself, if you have been to Pontesano or some similar place like that in Italy, you will not be that impressed. Yes, sure the lake and the area around the lake is beautiful, no question about that. But after seeing Pontesano you will be disappointed. Once you get there from Milan, Be prepared for the 50 plus minutes ride on the mountain in one line curvy RD. Very difficult and can make you dizzy.
