  • Miguel picked us up on time at our hotel and spoke very good English. He was very knowledgeable about all we were to see. The tour was constructed around what we wanted to see, The Pena Palace and Sintra, then out to the coast. He knew how to avoid the crowds and queues. We stopped for an authentic lunch. I would recommend this tour by this operator to anyone would like something a bit more personal than a coach tour.

  • This tour was perfect for us as we only had a few days in Lisbon and wanted to spend one of the days exploring outside the city but didn't want to rent a car. Our guide Miguel was great because he gave us all the information that we needed wherever we went and let us explore on our own. A fun day!

  • Miguel was an amazing guide. Knowledgeable, entertaining, very efficient. He was able to adjust our excursion to our needs traveling with 7 year old child, gave us suggestions and choices in regards what to see and do in accordance with our interests.
We learnt a bit about history of Portugal and more. We felt very safe and well taken care of.

  • EN: We loved our tour, and we were very lucky with our guide. Miguel was fantastic and made our whole day lots of fun and very interesting. Both my mam’ and I would highly recommend the tour to anyone visiting that area.

  • We were picked up right on time and given an amazing trip to these two beautiful towns. The van was hot with little air conditioning. We were promised water that we did not get. Our guide was friendly. No real complaints. It was a nice dexperience.

  • Miguel is a top notch tour guide. Our day outside Lisbon with plenty of time to explore Sintra including the unforgettable Quinta de Regaleria, Cascais and Cabo de Roca. He even did surprise stops at Boca de Infierno and the National Palace of Queluz. Miguel is friendly, knowledgeable, punctual, flexible and engaging. I had a wonderful ride around the different towns west of Lisbon with him and enjoyed every minute. We went around my own pace and catered to my interests and traveler's curiosity. He is also fluent in Spanish and English so we made understanding everything so easy...gracias Miguel. We also stopped several times to drink/eat some of the
goodies the region has to offer. Delicious pastries and coffee in Sintra before starting our ride up to the Peña Palace for example...great recommendations! He also was very helpful parking as close as possible to the attractions and getting the admission tickets. Super good service! He is highly recommended for roadtrip tours when you are in Lisbon or Sintra. Thanks, Miguel !!

  • We traveled all over Portugal and our tour through Sintra and Cascais was a huge highlight of the trip. Sinatra is amazing on its own, but our visit was so enriched with our private all day tour. Our guide, Andre, was patient, entertaining, knowledgeable and flexible. Andre provided us with history, and took us to amazing places we would never have found on our own. Being picked up and dropped off at our hotel, allowed us to relax and enjoy the day. He knew the places we visited inside and out and maneuvered us through the various sites so that we never waited in a single line, allowing us to have a more fun and packed day. Highly recommend Andre and this tour!

  • Our tour guide was very informative and friendly . We were able to miss all the line ups at Pena Palace by getting there for opening. We had a lot of photo opportunities at the many places we visited. Our lunch was delicious

  • Miguel was the warmest, most informative, accommodating tour guide we had throughout our 2 week 4 city tour of Europe. Hire him!

  • What a fantastic day to end a 5 day visit to Portugal!

Our guide, picked us up from our Airbnb in Cascais and from the start was amazing. He tailored the day to what we were interested in, providing a great understanding of Portugal along the way. Our first stop was Cabo da Roca, the most western point in Europe, was a bit foggy but beautiful and the best part was getting there before the large tour groups! We had the whole area to ourselves for exploring and pictures. From there we drove to Sintra, stopping at Quinta de Regaleira to explore the stunning gardens. Our guide was spectacular giving the perfect balance of walking with us, explaining the history, etc. to giving us time to explore on our own. We then had the opportunity to explore the town of Sintra on our own for lunch and some shopping. He gave us a great recommendation for a wine and tapas restaurant where we sat by the window and watched the people go by. Last stop of the day was the gorgeous Pena Palace. We chose the option of just walking around the outside of the palace, spending some time enjoying the views. Thankfully, our guide was so kind to take us to the airport hotel where I was staying the last night in Lisbon.

Overall, this was the perfect way to end a long weekend in Portugal. I'm so glad we chose this Private Tour and would highly recommend it to everyone.
