Walk up the steps of the South Gate until you reach the top of the centuries-old wall, where youll stroll along the walkway with your guide and admire views of the city below. Your guide and driver will then transfer you to the Muslim quarter, a charming area buzzing with various exotic food stalls, souvenir shops and diverse visitors.

Step inside the Great Mosque, one of the most renowned mosques in the country, featuring traditional Chinese-style architecture with sprinklings of Arabic lettering and decorations. Would highly recommend this tour.

Our tour guide Owen was great with his communication prior to the tour with e-mails and texts to ensure we are kept right up to date on the arrangements and meeting location.

Bang on time a call to our hotel room advising us he was ready in the lobby for our day.

The transportation was clean with an excellent confident driver which is a must in the challenging roads of China.

On Owens recommendation we agreed the Terracotta Warriors are best left to the afternoon due to the morning crowd, so we headed into Xian to the other sights.

Owen gave us a great trip into the history and sights of central Xian, allowing plenty of time to look and ask questions, his knowledge was awesome.

Lunch was marvellous, in the Chinese restaurant with plenty to eat and drink, also catering for vegetarians.

On to the star attraction of the warriors, again his knowledge along with the sight we had travelled 6500miles to see made it a day we will never forget.

Would highly recommend this trip and Owen and his team, outstanding

The goal for our visit was to see the highlights of Xian on the one day we had free and Michael did an amazing job providing it to us.

We started with the Terrocatta warriors. Michael was constantly feeding us new and interesting information throughout the entire drive there. Once we arrived he continued as we went from one excavation pit to the next.

We then stopped at a Terrocatta warrior replica shop which I wish I had grabbed some souvenirs from looking back. They had such a breadth of items there - replicas, trinkets, furniture, rugs - I didnt get a chance to do much shopping for gifts the rest of the trip and it would have been a great time to load up.

I expected a very minimal lunch but Michael took us to an amazing local restaurant. The food was excellent and we had such an incredible assortment of dishes. It was a delicious introduction to the cuisine of Xian.

We then went to the city wall which also gave us a chance to look at the downtown area of Xian. Personally I found it very interesting to see the ancient wall next to modern skyscrapers.

Finally we went to the great mosque and toured the area around it. It was a great contrast to see these ancient buildings surrounded by modern architecture on every side.

If you want to spend one day seeing the widest gamut of attractions in Xian, I cant recommend this tour enough. I felt like I saw everything I wanted to see in about 8 hours and the amazing lunch was the cherry on top. Great tour, so glad I booked it.

This trip was amazing, with the tourguide Rosemary. She told me a lot about the history of Xian. The Terracotta Warriors was also something that I find very interesting. The City Wall has it own historyand Rosemary told me this in perfect and amazing words.
The lunch in a nearby local restaurant was so good and I was very satisfied with the food. The Great Mosque was very crowded with incredibly many people. It sold local food in a lot of stands. I was incredibly pleased with this trip, and if someone gets Rosemary as a guide you can be happy

Rosemary was an excellent guide, extremely knowledgeable of the city's history and culture and flexible to adjust the itinerary and accomodate requests. This tour was the ideal way to see all the highlights of Xi'an if you only have one day.

i took this trip to see the terracotta warriors and was very happy to visit. the mosque was also a great site to visit. the wall can be done on your own...i only had a day so packed it all in...would have been nice to spend more time at the teracotta warrior site.

Thoroughly enjoyed the day and my guide, Rosemary was excellent. This trip is also a great way, if you are short of time in X'ian, to get to see some stunning big highlights all in one day. We even added in a lovely tea ceremony too. A long but thoroughly enjoyable day.

Very good. Had as much time as I wanted with Terracotta warriors. Good meal. Car could have been a little nicer. Guide's English could be slightly better. Overall very pleased.

Chris was very knowledgeable and cordial. She spoke English very well. It was easy to understand her throughout the tour. She was very courteous and answered all my questions. She was very helpful and took pictures of me at the terracotta warriors site and all the thru the tour. This was wonderful because I was a solo traveler. Lunch was Great. The food was delicious. It was one of the best meals I had in China. The terracotta warriors were interesting. There was a lot to see. Chris knew lots about the history. Mr. Wang was on time and drove very well. He made sure to open and close the doors for me at every stop. Nice job!
